Great App

One of the best

Doesn’t get any commands or nuances

How many times do I have to fix a chunk of text that is wrong. Too many mistakes in a short span of talking. I’m so frustrated with this app, it wasted so much time re doing when I could have simply typed it. I bought the pro hopeful it was better than this. No it is lousy .

Disabled writer loves this app!

Sir Gurr

I’ve used every voice recognition engine available to Macs for over 10 years and this app is as good as one I spent $500 on last year?!! Wish I had known how amazing it was back then!!

One Minute

Popability

All of a sudden, the “free” version gives you a total of 1 minute (60 seconds) to try it out, then pops up a message saying you have to buy the pro version if you want even another second. The description lies, and this used to have a useable free version without some of the perks of pro. It’s called some nasty things, but this is basically known as underhanded.

I want to uninstall this and I want my money back

I’m using this on an iPhone 11. I paid 7.99 and during the free trial version was forced into purchasing the Speechy Pro version. I did this because I liked the speech dictation-to-text function and for the convenience of saving/sharing that text onto my Apple “Notes” app by pressing a save/share button. Big time FAIL. I’m forced to highlight, drag-and-extend the cursor, then copy the text, then input into my Notes app, then open a new Note, then paste the text from Speechy there. Why would I pay money for something that Siri could do? She may not do it as well but I don’t have to waste my time and energy on a product that I PAID for.

Good deal for the money

It seems to be pretty good so far. I was paying $15 a month for Dragon Dictation, which was fine but way more expensive. So far I'm happy with it. I'm a writer and I like being able to dictate when I walk my dog. I actually like it a little better than DD because the microphone doesn't shut off till you tell it to. I don't like having to keep hitting record and checking if I'm in pause or not. I also find it interesting that you can set it to record your voice and text at same time. My only complaint is I wish it had a voice command like Dragon "Scratch that" which would erase your last sentence. If you make a mistake, I think you have to enter the keyboard and backspace the mistake. It's really worth the money!

Ideal para sordos! Ideal for hearings impaired!

Lopren

Muchas Gracias. I found this App looking for help for my hearing impaired friend so she could understand our church meetings. This is excellent so she can read whatever is spoken in Zoom meetings, videos with no CC, radio, even communicating with live people. I will use it in our PT clinic for such patients. Endless uses. Thanks a lot!

Stopping
