Vocab fun on the go!

Little piggys

I downloaded this app two weeks ago to prepare studying some vocab for the GRE and I’m already hooked; especially when they give you example sentences that apply to the word.

Easy to use

wordabsurd

Easy to use. I disagreed with the definition of maybe 2 out of 250 words.

Great!

This app has really helped my volcabulary.

If you're a nerd, you'll love this

I downloaded this app when I felt my vocabulary wasn't as impressive as it used to be. What I found is that this app is strangely MASSIVE FUN. Maybe I'm just a nerd who loves words, but if you are too, then you should download this app. Works really smoothly and has various word levels so you can work up to the hard stuff.

Amazing resource!

I never write reviews, but this app is awesome! It’s actually fun to review, and I feel like I’m progressing much more than just reviewing Flashcards. Highly recommend to anyone.

Almost perfect

AdeixD

I am using it for the GRE vocab and love how the app works - I just finished with common words and have 2 sections done in both advance and intermediate words. The algorithm for the words is great for the first time - while Im learning the words they come/repeat just at the right time to make sure I actually learn them. The competition is brilliant in making me review a whole section. And growing groups makes it a bit challenging(which my competitiveness loves). BUT there is no option to practice with just the words I struggle. I cannot star the ones I want to practice - its either all or none and I really dont want to go through the whole 70 words because of the 4 I need to practice.

I highly recommend this app

This is an excellent app! It is perfect for studying for the ACT and SAT, which is the way I am using it, or also to just expand your everyday vocabulary. One thing that I like about it is that you have to master the words, and if you get one wrong, you will keep reviewing it. The only downside to this app is that there is only one definition per word. It would be helpful with memorization if there were different definitions.

Bugs

The app is generally very good but many times even though you select the right answer it show up with the wrong answer. This is very frustrating as you can’t advance stuck in a loop. The wood that never shows up correctly is: doubt!
