VMware vSphere Mobile Watchlist

vSphere Mobile Watchlist enables secure vSphere infrastructure monitoring and remediation directly from your smartphone. With Watchlist, VMware administrators will be able to log in to a vCenter Server or ESXi host directly and choose virtual machines and hosts from inventory to create targeted views of objects and their properties. Remediate directly from the device with power and management operations, VM console interaction, and delegation of tasks to onsite colleagues with linked relevant Knowledge Base (KB) articles.

vSphere Mobile Watchlist brings the following key capabilities to vSphere administrators on the go:

EASILY CREATE WATCHLISTS: Search for and select a subset of VMs and hosts from your VMware vCenter Server and/or ESXi inventory to monitor in one or multiple watchlists.

VMs and HOSTS AT A GLANCE: Review the status of selected Watchlist VMs and hosts from your device including state, configuration details, resource usage, performance charts, health alerts, tasks and events, interact with the VM console and browse related objects.

DISCOVER: Alerts are linked to pertinent diagnostic information from the VMware Knowledge Base, as well as articles from the Web.

REMEDIATE REMOTELY: Remediate problems directly from the device using simple CPU/Memory configuration and snapshot management or by powering on/off, resuming/suspending, connecting/disconnecting, or restarting VMs and/or hosts — or for situations where on-site remediation is required, share alert(s) along with recommended solutions in an email to team members back at the datacenter.
vSphere Mobile Watchlist is compatible with iOS 7 & iOS 8.

NOTE: A VMware vSphere installation (5.0 and above) is required to use VMware vSphere Mobile Watchlist. Access to vSphere infrastructure may require a secure access method such as VPN on a mobile device. Contact your IT department for further assistance.

Great app
doublez

Glad it's here. Had a couple of freezes when going between it and other apps, but overall it's worth it.

Great app!!!!!

Pleased with the overall UI upgrade.

Great tools and information!

A great tool for at-a-glance monitoring of your hosts and VMs. I like the new host feature.

Works as intended
doogman23

Perfect for host and guest status checks in your pocket. Ability to shutdown both from app also useful. Can't wait to see this app evolve into more functionality. Well done thus far.

There is potential

The app runs great, has a very intuitive UI. There are a few features lacking such as : -the ability to edit machine settings -vmotion -view alerts ...just to name a few. MobilePCMonitor offers many more features in their app for managing vmware.

Great features. Great interface.

I just used this to check a couple of clusters from the airport. I only use a read only account. I am not interested in rebooting hosts from here, or having my phone stolen and someone else rebooting :)

Need more features

This app is almost perfect!! Please add monitoring for Data Protector, and the refresh is not always accurate, also... When I add a VM to the cluster, I can't add it in this app, I have to delete the app and reinstall it.

Pretty cool app

I run vSphere at home and this app lets me see the screens of the VMs and reboot machines. I love it!

Good ideas, bad implementation

Was geeked to see console support finally added. But then sorely disappointed to find out it crashes on my iPhone 6+ every time I try to open a console. Please update for the 6 and 6+ devs! Phones have been out for a long time now! Also would like to see native iPad support. Will go back to 5 stars when crashing is fixed (bug report sent).
