Crashing Constantly

My Vivint Drive, though great in theory, crashes about 90% of the times I try to use it. I currently have 31 items waiting to upload, but it won’t open so they are just waiting. Very frustrating! Hoping for an update that will correct this so I can change this rating. This has been happening for a very long time.

Vivint security is very good, but the “smart drive” app has never worked correctly, even when it was called Space Monkey.
Not Working- FIX IT

This app have not been functioning for months now. Is used to be great and now it will not even open. Starts to open and never gets through to actually opening the app before shutting down. I can save or access my photos!

I’ve been using this app for many years and it has always been a little less than convenient for sharing, but I always loved the dual, automatic backup to both my drive and a distributed private cloud. Now the app just doesn’t work and I feel I need to find another way to preserve my most precious memories.

Continues to crash

Despite waiting for long periods of time to chat with customer service...they are no help. App continues to crash. IOS has latest version. Uninstalled/Installed Drive app numerous times. Restart phone numerous times. App opens, then crashes. No backups for weeks. Very frustrating to pay for a service that you don’t receive.
Login issues
Update please!!
This app is total crap. I’ve updated my login information through their website, but it won’t let me login through the app. I’d like to see my home security recordings, but unfortunately can’t login. This is very frustrating.

Although This app does not work at the moment I love my smart drive!! Playback is in the main vivint app now so no need for Vivint playback. Mine has been working great for about 5 years now! Every update increased its speed so now I can quickly slide and see a bunch of still images during that time. It used to take forever to load. The baking up of pics I thought was a good idea and also thought it was only in beta. Backed up 1k photos so far. Took about an hour to do that when this app worked. I back up several of my computers onto the drive itself and it is WAY FASTER than over the internet backups! Yes it may take some time for it to back up itself to online but that’s what it’s designed to do. I would gladly pay twice as much as I do now for the 24/7 video recording on all of my outdoor cams as well as computer backups!!! I don’t know what these people are saying about “Vivint scam”. I googled and read out dated info as well as customers who didn’t give the Smart Home Pros a chance to fix anything that was wrong. I had a SHP and he was AWESOME! Ask for a Pro and one will come!
