I've been a user of Vivino for more than a few years and must say it gets better every update. The Vivino team is relentless in bringing features forward without the revenue model impacting the usability. The crowd data can be a little skewed in the low end wines (you don't know what you don't know.). The high end wines tend to get pushed center as well because users buying those wines do know how to rate wines. I wish Vivino would flip to a 10 scale.

When I go to a new wine store and I'm unfamiliar with their selection, I turn on the multi-scan feature and take pictures off each bottle as I walk along the shelf. I then have the ability to select the best on the shelf. It's awesome!
