Very useful app

You can photograph a wine label in the store or at home to see how a wine rates and what its characteristics are. It’s fast and easy. I now use it when shopping and with the “my wines” tab, I can review what I liked and why for future reference. I’ve ordered wine and it comes promptly and reliably if the company uses UPS. However, if they use FedEx, be prepared to stay home for a week while arrival is constantly delayed (not just at the holidays).
Average price feature gone

App used to be very useful for me while shopping since it presented the average price and it help to realize if you were getting a good deal. This feature has been removed which is a step back. I am downgrading the app and start looking for one with prices. Sorry Vivino. No more of my wine for you.
Using the Vivino app

Learning more and more about wine I always use my Vivino app when I go to the grocery store . Many times they have some really nice wines either , buy one get one free or 50% off …being a Kj Chardonnay white wine enthusiast for many years , And not knowing much about red wine this App is how I choose A red wine , the upper 3.6 -4.0 range or else I do not purchase. I would love to enjoy a 5.0 wine ( on my bucket list ) , but so far , no go ….

Only downside is that the foto technology doesn’t always grab the correct grape or year. Need to be careful

Best app for rating wines. We have found that any wine above 3.8 to be on track. We always recommend this app to friends and people that ask me what I might be doing taking pictures of wine bottles. I tell them how good and accurate this app is about wines and the people that use it

This app is amazing, I just wish there was an easier way to Share with Friends who are not already connected. Ex: allow my rating of a wine to be postable to social media sites, with all appropriate credits, of course.

I use this app all of the time. Great functionality, recognizes most wines by camera, very informative and fun information. I gave 4 instead of 5 just in hopes they build in a “professional ratings” feature to go side-by-side with general ratings.
