The reviews for this app really worried me that it was a waste of money, but this is probably one of the great purchases I've made this year. The app worked perfectly fine for me, no issues at all. I have the starter pack and the Destinations pack, hoping to get both the Space and Wildlife ones soon! Great products!
Lever Issues

Obviously there are some major issues with this app and the device. Is anyone else having an issue where the lever does not work at all or maybe just once or twice? I have to open the view finder. And tap on the screen. I'm wondering if this is an app issue or maybe just a flaw in the actual view finder. If it then why would it work on one screen then not the next?

Just like everyone else, not working. The buy now button doesn't even work for me. Seeing the other reviews here, maybe it's a good thing. Not impressed.

At first it didnt work for me but did for my sisters phone and we found that if your screen rotation is locked, UNLOCK IT. As soon as we unlocked it, the app worked perfectly and the View Master worked! Happy Christmas! Hope this works!!

Could not get past the screen where it say to put the device in the viewer. Hit skip numerous times and nothing. This is just from the preview disk. No way am I buying the full content. I wish I could give no stars. It literally doesn't work.
App doesn't work!

Got the app to run the viewfinder and it didn't work. It prompts you to place your device in the VF and then doesn't do anything from there. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and rebooting my device and nothing has worked. Please fix/update the app so we can experience the VF!

So, I followed directions and expected the worst after reading the reviews; but it worked and it is sooo worth it! My husband and I love it and all three kids love it (ages 6, 5, and 3). We had to set a timer so everyone got the same time. The overall effect is like being there- you can choose to explore points of interest and there's facts and sounds that go with it. Cannot say enough about how great this product is.

Total waste of money. I'm doing everything right on an up-to-date iPhone 6 and the app simply stops at the page where it tells you to insert your phone into the view master. I'm going to burn through lots of their call center time demanding a refund for mom (it was purchased 800 miles away). But am not holding my breath. Mattel really screwed up--and continues to.
