Connectivity has gotten much better over past few months thanks to the updates. I wish they would have it automatically open or try to connect to the tv. It would then be perfect.

Okay, never used the ondemand before, but have some new disc players and wanted to set up the streaming apps. Yeah - fat chance. Go to use the keyboard on the sign-in screens, but no, your app claims there is no text input field. Perhaps you could try again...until then, pass on this one.

Works very erratically. Error after error very frustrating. Sony losing it.

I got used to having to update the channel list EVERY TIME I opened the app... that was annoying. But now, it will not even do that, causing the app to be completely worthless. Thanks for the update; Sony, you just don't get it right any time pertaining to your software.

Don't call it an app, call it crap! I loved this app when it included the program guide feature. I used it every day! Now, without the program guide is just another useless remote app. I already have a remote, wich is faster and easier to use than an iPad/iPhone. BRING BACK THE PROGRAM GUIDE FEATURE! AFTER AN IOS UPDATE, THE APP DOES NOT WORK AT ALL... IF I COULD GIVE THIS APP ZERO STARS I WOULD!

I use to love this app for when my kids lost the remote but now it just says it can't retrieve channel list. I just want it for a remote again.

App has dropped Program Guide, which I used to instantly jump to OTA content. All that remains is cheesy remote app -- no use to me. DELETE.

Back in May 2017, Sony had a contract fall-out with a supplier, and they had to remove all kinds of great functionality from the app. It's now a shell of its former self. This means that the workflow is borked since you open it to show nothing and have to select the remote. It took 10 min of playing with the TV/app & 2 min googling to figure this out. If Sony were a small startup, I could understand. But, it's a billion dollar company and should be able to update the app. Even if they just redesigned it so that the remote was the focus, they'd be better off. Is it really that hard to find a new SW firm to restore functionality, or wait for it....dev the SW themselves? Sony has been trying to restore its former glory. This app affair indicates that they're still not on the right track to success. Keep it up, and Samsung, Hitachi, or maybe Lenovo will get to buy them out in a few years.
