Ditto the other reviewers. Paid for the app a long time ago and it was good back then. Now it has a limit on the “trainer hands” and wants us to pay for more. No thanks. Would like my original money back though.

Pulling up various resources to accelerate learning optimal play but disappointed constant need to purchase training here. I'd prefer a flat fee to purchase app. I'm all for unique revenue models but personally don't a pay as you go for software doesn't work for me. Flat fee, subscription based, advertisements are better. Unfortunately, I've deleted for a subject that I will pay others for.

This ap is a fantastic video poker trainer and will help your play increase your odds of winning. The problem is the program's code logic needs refinement as suggestions for cards held is at times a long shot.

Lots of variations, you can turn the "trainer" off or on. Change bet denomination, change speed... Looks and acts just like the video poker machines at the casinos... Except, no coins come out when you win. (maybe next version, lol)

Without a doubt the best video poker app in the app store, my only issue is the in app purchases for unlocking certain features, however, with as much time & effort that must have gone into so closely matching actual casino play makes it well worth the extra $.

Nice game BUT no explanation of the GEM awards and changing the pay tables only lasts as long as you play the current game. They revert back to their original payouts as soon as you quit the app.

I have played video poker at an expert level for many years, spending about $75 for practice software for my laptop. When I switched to MAC, I had to buy new software, which I never used because it never ran properly. For a fraction of that price, this app allows me to keep up my skills on my phone. My past experience is that bargain video poker software does not teach sound strategy. That is not true of this app. You can take the strategy corrections to the bank - literally. My biggest regret is that the game selection is rather small. There is no Deuces Wild, a game is a mainstay for serious players. Also, don't expect instruction regarding things such as how to analyze pay tables. You'll have to buy a good book to obtain that sort of information. But, this is a great practice tool. When I am visiting a casino that features a game that I have not played in a while, I can practice on the plane. And, it's just a fun way to pass time. The app looks good, and is easy to use. If you learn just a couple of things from this app, it will pay for itself many times over on your next visit to the casino.

A lot of work went into this app, especially the statistical analysis. The app is very user friendly as well - you can play on casino odds, or vary it to the other end of the spectrum by playing big-win odds. The trainer is very effective - it applies sound behavioral techniques efficiently on such a small-scale environment. There's also a "hand analysis" that lets you tap in an actual casino hand, and the app analyses the best moves. Very cool! I was so impressed that I bought Robert Suh's other apps as well: Bingo Classic and 4-hand Keno. They're all up to Robert's standards, though I really, really like the Video Poker ... but that's just me. Great job, Robert!
