What? No Gas Station?

How they left out gas stations is beyond me. Skip this app and try AroundMe instead. It has twice as many categories!

I love the app, but to be more successfull please add: 1. Gas stations 2. Pharmacies 3. Search 4. And more settings to customize it more

I find it to be useful but it needs hospital and RX (CVS) locations along with gas stations and librarys. What it lists is a good start, but for the working and traveling more everday stuff is needed. I'll add another star when it earns it. Michelle

I travel a lot. So I thought this would work well for me. And by and large it does. However it does miss a lot. I'm not sure where these type apps pull their data from, but I have now downloaded 3-4 of them. They all give different results. So now I don't rely on results from any one of them. But I take a couple minutes to check them all out. So overall I'd say this was a "nice" app. But if you are really looking for new places or places that are within walking distance, I would get a couple of these type apps and use them all.

The people who wrote Vicinity need to go over their work and make this app function like its supposed to. In Canada, it doesn't even load results. Big disappointment.

Simple to Use with Third-Party Integration

The distinguishing feature of this app for me is its integration with Panoramio, Wikipedia, and Flickr. The rest of it is comparable to its competitors.

It has been fine until this last update. Now it kicks out at launch.

Silicon Valley Nerd

First of all, there IS a way to change between miles and metric, its in the settings menu for the iphone. Aside from that, this is a decent app. Allows you to find places around you quickly. I wish it would give more information about the places it shows (say, give reviews and ratings etc, instead of just the phone number and address), that would make this app pretty killer. Also, the yahoo link at the bottom is pretty useless. If this combined with UrbanSpoon, the possibilities are amazing.

I don't think this is a good app. It works ok. But I was expecting more. When you say "where am I?" it gives you the latitude and longitude, but not an address. This app needs some work.
