It looks to me as though they "conveniently" left the places from their other locator apps out of this one. So if you happen to be 3 blocks away from an In-N-Out burger, and you aren't using their In-N-Out locator app, then Vicinity certainly wont tell you about it! I think I'd rather pay $9.99 for 1 app that included everything than $1.99 for a bunch of apps that will only clog up my iPhone with icons! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!

Dont buy this app. I downloaded this and it would not find restaurants less than 500 yds away. I was in San Jose Ca for the weekend and the APP could not find restaurants that i standing in front of. Even when i did a search for a named restaurant it could not find it if is was less than 500yds away. When i got home i tried a search for my favorite restaurants. It inaccurately showed their locations and distanct. Very dissapointing. To make this more frustrating i contacted Active Guru for a refund and have had no response other than their automated email response that said "thanks for contacting us, your question is in the Que". I tried to dispute this with apple and they responded saying "contact the App provider. I recomment "Arround me" it is free and works very well.

I picked up this app about a year agao when it was Free or $0.99... And it worked great!! This App used to be on my First page of Apps, now it is on the last page. I live in Chicago, so you would think there would be plenty of options. Well now when I open the App, it always says location Temporarily Unavailable (**laff**). And all the categories pull nothing up. Please please don't waste your money until they make some major improvements!
Good, but there are cheaper apps with the same features

Crash crash crash. Everytime I tap "nearby places" it crashes. I have never seen an app crash so much. Awful

Just as the title states.. I payed 2.99 for this and it just fades away.. Lame..
