What an incredible, free, gift!

Title Saw 3

I assumed that when I downloaded this I would be hit with ads, or otherwise compelled to upgrade if I wanted a complete product. Not the case, this incredible Catholic Christian resource offers a mountain of resources for free.

Excellent

This app is awesome! You can search single words or verses. Plus you can get all these resources for free or really cheap each month. Add this to your spiritual growth list

More complete study, much less time!!

I have been leading and attending Catholic scripture studies for ten years and I am so grateful for Verbum! I love that all the resources are downloadable and that I can use it across platforms (desktop, iPad, iPhone) so that I don't have to tote 10 lbs of Navarre Bibles, workbooks, laptops etc... To every child's basketball practice, doctor's appt, etc... - just bring my iPad and do some homework! I haven't even begun to get the most out of it, but even my very humble efforts have been rewarded, the embedded links to Bible passages within the Scripture commentaries just save so much time. A final bonus also for busy moms - if you do load it onto a mobile device like iPad you can read it in the dark before the children wake, possibly the most perfect time for Bible study or prayer. God bless!

Great Resource to build our faith in moments of need to reflect on God's Word!

Great resource! While not as powerful as the computer version, very useful for a mobile resource

Best Spiritual & Temporal Investment!

I’m pleased to report I have used the Logos Bible Software for a few years now, starting with Logos4 and then migrating into Logos5, Verbum -- Capstone suite. Short of receiving the Holy Eucharist and spending time before the Blessed Sacrament -- hands down, this is the best spiritual and temporal investment of time and money I have EVER made. My knowledge and DESIRE to know the WORD, and our LORD has grown exponentially every month and there is no reason that you would experience anything less. The depth and breath of the current available resources (bibles, commentaries, encyclicals, patristic writings, images, maps and datasets) are astonishing. The resources are scaleable and reasonably priced, allowing you the flexibility of purchasing the resources you need and want. The strength and power behind Logos is that all your resources are indexed and cross-referenced to each other - every chapter, verse and word. This includes your own notes, study guides and documents you may have created over time. And it is all transportable, synced seamlessly to your PC, MAC and all your popular iOS devices instantly. The Logos support and sales teams, their assistance, training materials, videos and iSO apps are professional and thorough. Don’t sit on the sidelines -- this too could be one of the best investments to help you discover the TRUTH, and help in your own sanctification.

Verbum is amazing

I have been using verbum for a few months now and it works flawlessly. It helps me study in new and interesting ways I did purchase a few resources and have not regretted it. My one request would be to add a font like helvetica which is easier for folks to read. Great app. Especially appreciate the variety of well thought out tools.

I Love It!

This is an excellent app for Catholics! From offering several Bible translations to topical Bible studies, and more than 30 FREE resources, including Bible commentary, Saints, and martyrs, I'd highly recommend this app for any Catholic Christian wishing to deepen their faith.
