Crashing

Denverbengal

Just loaded game today and it keeps crashing.

It's decent

PixelStrider

Gameplay is pretty fun, the tutorial was a bit boring and I wish you could customize your character a bit more like hair options or female face and whatnot. Other than that it's a decent game

Crashes since last update

emmakatana

I’m really enjoying this game, but as of the last update, it’s crashing constantly. This is annoying but it's especially problematic on guild missions because you can't save. I have to repeat the same mission over and over and pray.

Can’t even play it

Lightning141214

I’d love to review this game, but it hasn’t stayed open long enough for me to actually play it. It just keeps crashing every time I try, and it’s pissing me off because it looks like something I would really like if it would just actually work.

Enjoy on iPhone, but iPad Landscape Doesn’t Work

dpaint4

I have tried on iPad in the past, and it always forces vertical orientation, which is not how I use my iPad at my desk, so I really can’t play. I saw in the recent change notes that iPad horizontal orientation was added, so I downloaded again, but it still does not work. With or without my keyboard attached, the game still defaults to vertical orientation and does not provide ability to change to landscape. Until there is landscape orientation, I won’t be able to play, as I only have time for passive games, and I can’t play portrait-orientation games at my desk.

It’s great, But too many controls!

♡ ㄱ///ㄱ ♡

This game is so ADDICTING! But there is so many controls it is making me crazy. I can’t understand a lot of it because there is so many controls I’m freaking out, PLEASE make it easier. I REALLY would think that would be better.

Great bones

WinceWon

But seriously. Half the screen? How much dialogue does one person need! This could be NEXT LEVEL as a phone game.

The game is interesting and Unique.

devilrainblood

The characters are very unique from one another and have personality these games tend to lack. The start of the game is pretty slow but picks up once you unlock around half the map. Don’t listen to the idiots here saying that the game can only be played right side up. These players are the most blind people I have seen since in the options you can change the screen sideways for a much larger screen. Most of the players here don’t deserve to be reviewers since they only complain about how small the screen is which can be remendied in the options menu. It is sad to see such a gem ratings ruined by idiots that can not see a good game.

Terrible UX and insanely long intro

One of the Chili Beans

I got so excited when I saw this game on Apple Arcade. A one handed, well made, vertical rpg was exactly what I was looking for. But sadly this game has so many flaws it’s hard to get into. The vertical UI is clearly not what this game was designed for and the transformation was lazy at best. The screen is about 2/3 white space with the environments (which seem rich and well animated) are contained to a mini screen that’s so small you can’t appreciate any of the details. Also the text is thin and small and hard to read which seems like a rookie mistake that I wouldn’t expect from a dev like square enix. Also. After downloading and starting the game it took me exactly 24 minutes of playtime to even get to the first instance of combat. And that’s while skipping all of the COPIOUS amounts dialogue as fast as humanly possible. If I’d have read it it would have been closer to 40 minutes until the first combat. I want to like this game because I truly truly would love an amazing mobile-first designed rpg from square enix on Apple Arcade. I just hope that they realize when people don’t play this one that it’s not because nobody wants one, we just want something better than THIS one.

Terrible UI and feels cheap

Flowerlark

I wanted to like this game, bit it’s unplayable for me because of how tiny the UI and text is on a phone. I have an iPhone XS Max, so the screen is quite large, and after only a few minutes I had an eye-strain headache from trying to read the text and see my stats. And frankly, from what little I was able to play, this game felt extremely cheap and quickly cobbled together, especially compared to what this studio normally produces.
