I liked FF1 alot and thought this would be cool, too. However, it's very repetetive and just not very exciting. One of the worst things about it is that your character's level ups go away after each stage.

This game is great and addicting but it would be way better with more units from Final Fantasy A2 Tactics. Needs an update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great game, frustrating too

I loved the game and played it through relatively quickly. However, the hard mode seems next to impossible compared to the standard mode. Well worth the $4.

I have a lot of square enix games and this one feels like the rest... It is a great strategy game that you gain characters throughout the game and you have a time limit so it gets pretty intense at sometimes well worth the money and even though I already beat it I am still trying to beat my high score on all the levels

Lite and fun, but even at the $2.99 sale it's overpriced, $2 at most. You're far better off with Crystal Defenders. This seems like Crystal Defenders for kids. The game is also too short. Beat it all in little over an hour. Hard is impossible to beat which leads me to believe that it wasn't play tested. This is easily Square Enix's weakest iPhone game.
annoying music/graphics

I was looking for a new defense game and gave this one a try. Unfortunately the graphics and sound are really annoying and the gameplay is pretty simplistic. Deleted after playing for 5 minutes. Should by 0.99 at most

You can easily beat the game in an hour. Maybe more levels and units would be nice. I mean, for the same price, zenonia offers a story and 20+ hours of gameplay. It's an ok game, but not worth $2 :/

It's a bit expensive for what it offers, but the game is a lot of fun and even at 8 levels I find that the replay value is pretty good, if you set yourself the goal of beating your previous high scores.
