Great strategy rpg

ADKtrader

Lots of fun!

Fantastic

JTroyH

If you like Final Fantasy Tactics this is a must-have!

Surprise

Pops.99

I wasn't sure I'd like this, but I was pleasantly surprised. Certainly worth a placement on the iPhone or iPod touch. Glad to see SE developing further on this platform.

Great pocket strategy game

Sertis

Easy to play, and the rules aren't complicated. Not quite a replacement for FFT but great fun all around! If we could get a version of FFT for GBA on iPhone, I will have no excuses to leave my bed in the morning.

FFTA 2: The Arcade Game

DrTraveller

Cross FFTA:2 with an arcade game and you get this perfect game. Well worth the cash.

great! now please give us dragon quest 1 through 3!

music guy 85

final fantasy meets chess... great music, great play, a true classic. Now please give us more true classics like dragon warrior/quest 1,2, and 3!

Fun but....

ThePop

Needs some kind of story. just pllaying stages introducing new characters and playing for high score is ok, but I'd rather have a story then play for endless violence.

NEEDS UPDATE

InfernoNin7

This game was very fun and enjoyable at first but got obsevviley boring as I got into the game. I rather want a refund of a major update including level options and different types of characters it's simple -you have a soldier a strait line and a diagonal line as your only attacks, cmon Square I would also suggest a money system where you earn money and buy reinforcements along with choosing you upgrades and having them carry on to the next world. Also along with this update there would need to be more worlds. Square, you can make a great game out of this you just need to make some changes, and buyers don't but rights now wait for an update

Pro And Con.

SoggyTacos

This game was great at first, very intriguing and it kinda pulls you in. But it needs an update or atleast a nice storyline. The "story" as mentioned is a brief introduction of WHY you're playin the game. Anyhoo- to the pros and cons. PROS- Very Strategic, you need to use your head and beat the clock. Different enemies, different terrains. Many stages. A highscore system. CONS- No Storyline. No money system. No need for a level-based fighting. Very repetitive. Needs an update. Needs more classes. Should be SOMEWHAT cheaper. Possibly make the time limit a little longer on some levels. It's your choice you choose! SoggyTaco; over and out.

Not impressed

ebrophy

Repetitive, unimaginative and overpriced. :( I had high hopes for it and it was interesting when I started playing it but it stops being fun after a few levels. The new units aren't all that interesting (Dragoon = Black Mage except it deals physical damage, Flintlock is an Archer except that it deals magic damage), and the enemies are not entirely engaging either. Four attributes (flying, physical resist, magic resist, fast moving) do not provide sufficient combinations IMO. And the direct copying of your units onto the opposing side as enemies is nearly tacky. At least throw a new sprite on them. Attack patterns are pretty weak, as well. Except for the aforementioned copies of your units, all enemies attack directly ahead of them one space. If they're big scary bosses then it's the two vertical spaces in front of them. Your own ranged attackers often sit idly for turns in the beginning when, because of the size of the board, they can't move to any space that will permit their diagonal attack to hit an enemy. I'd love to see some changes to this game, but seeing as how its last update was in the summer of '09 I doubt that will happen. Thanks, Squeenix.
