I like that you can take a picture of your wall and see art right there. The recommendations it makes have been pretty accurate to my tastes so far.

The app looks good and the art is well displayed. There are some less user friendly issues like not being able to see all the pieces of one particular artist. I also find most art here cheap and it generally looks that way too. For a slicker and broader (w lots of global selection) try the saatchiart app.

Lost iPad Compatability

My iPad is on the latest iOS version (9.3.2) as of the date of this review. Vango Art,which has been on it for quite a while, will no longer update with this June 2, 2016 revision. An error message pops up that says the app is not compatible with my device.

Deceptive email practices

I downloaded the app and found a piece I liked so I bought it. Then I received a number of emails including one offering framing services so I unsubscribed. It turns out hat when you unsubscribe you are also no longer receiving things you need like receipts. This type of bundling of unwanted material with necessary screams scam to me. There is no place to manage your email subscriptions in the app or online so I can't even resubscribe if I wanted to. I doubt that I will purchase anything else given this experience. It's too bad because there were at least a half dozen pieces I really enjoyed. The app also crashes from time to time. I've noticed it particularly in the iPad version when you tap on an artists name.
