Networking is one of those things that has really never evolved. Valor has changed that with an app that makes networking possible with just a few swipes. The app feels akin to sites and apps you already use and is very user friendly. Best of all, it does the dirty work for you. It recommends connections for you based on what you are interested in and your background. I'm excited for Valor to pickup speed and help me make more amazing connections!

As a college student who has just started seriously looking for work, Valor makes networking much less of a daunting task than it was in the past. Its intuitive interface and controls allows me to match up with many potential employers with minimal handholding. Matching up with someone through Valor gives me more confidence than simply handing in a resume with little to no personality behind it. In this digital age where social media reigns supreme, Valor feels like the natural progression of how networking is done. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get a head start in the job hunt over people who are still stuck in the past.

This app is perfect for new college grads. It puts you in contact with people who are in the same field from mentors to alumni and really helped me get my foot in the door with job opportunities. I also was lucky to get some helpful advice from people who already went through the hiring process. It makes networking so much simpler and efficient.

Approaching potential employers has always been awkward and unnatural for me. Im not good at getting noticed or making myself heard. This app takes that all away for me. I can swipe to chat with employers that truly interest me, and they can see all my qualities through my tagged skills and elevator pitch. It makes approaching that potential employer so much easier, smooth and natural. We live in a technological world and swipe networking is genius. Valor Connect is easy to use, quick, simple, engaging and has helped me expand my network, which was pretty non existent before. I honestly cant wait to see what cool alumni I can connect with and what we can do for each other in the future!

Valor is a must have for any young professional seeking to build their network, and makes you wonder how people used to network before. I wish this way of connecting with like-minded professionals existed when I was coming out of college. Through Valor I have met a few fresh grads looking to break into banking, some for coffee and a few others for lunch, and even considered one for an immediate hire at my company. I've found this way of giving back to be more natural than meeting a cold emailer because I can quickly determine based on their embedded profile info whether the person is worth meeting. Also, the app frames the networking aspect well so I haven't had many instances of people outright asking for jobs. One thing I'd like to understand is how the algorithm works because the recommendations seem highly relevant, but I suppose that's the techie in me and they'd never share.
