There's so much opportunity buried in alumni networks. Valor will help my peers and I leverage those contacts in a far easier way, all while building a more connected community.
Great concept, Poor execution

I love the concept of this app, but the UX is awful. It only lets you tag 25 areas of experience, which makes no sense. Why cap what experiences users can share? Similarly, the experiences are predetermined and aren't open for customization. Finally while I understand this app is networking in general, I would prefer it didn't put other students in my feed. I'm looking to connect with Alumni who can give me valuable advice and set me on my path, not students with less experience than me.

Just downloaded this app and already love how simple, clean, and easy to use it is. I can very easily find the Penn State University community and join to start networking with fellow alums. Can't wait to see what kinds of opportunities are out there...especially now that it's so easy to connect! Also noticed some conferences are in the communities section. Hoping to use this at my next conference to actually find the right people I want to meet. Highly recommend eveyone checks it out!
Great Networking App

Networking for me has been very difficult in the past. I have struggled trying to find people whose values aligned with mine. I know I can help a lot of people because of my experiences and I am very open to receiving help from others. I can say that Valor has introduced me to the right people and from that I have helped other's careers and people have improved my career. I would not be in the place I am now without Valor, and I only started using the app a couple of weeks ago! I would highly suggest downloading this app if you want to accelerate your career.

The app does a good job connecting the right people so that you don't waste time reaching out to alumni whose interests aren't aligned. It's finally made looking for new prof connections efficient and has helped start a few really valuable conversations with alumni I never would have found on my own in my school's directory.

Put simply, Valor makes it easy to connect with people based on specific interests. Its simple user interface helps create quick connections and keeps track of them for you. I'm interested to see where this app is headed...I could see it adding extra value to a conference or alumni network. Very cool app!

I'm an introvert and I always get really nervous just thinking about the idea of networking. But Valor Connect has helped me to connect with industry professionals without the initial awkwardness. I was swiping on my phone the other day on my way to class. I got matches with alumni who also studied chemical engineering, and I was able to get tips and hear their experiences in the industry. Valor helped me to get connected to industry professionals so much easier and faster. And I was really glad that they built communities just for my school. I would definitely recommend this app to my friends!

What a cool and much needed idea. As this app gains widespread adaption, it is going to be a critical tool for personal networking. I am already communicating with people I never would have found without it. It is simple to use and who I connect with is entirely up to me! It's great!

The thought of networking normally makes me cringe, but Valor makes the process not only painless but even enjoyable. It's intuitive and easy to use and I feel far more confident connecting with someone when I know they've swiped right on me too. :) Through Valor I've been able to meet people both in my industry and in other industries of interest to me. As a recent college graduate, I've been able to learn about positions and career paths that I didn't even know existed. I would highly recommend giving Valor a try and seeing who you can connect with too!
