Missing a feature

I upgraded to the no-ad version, which I’m very pleased with. However, I miss the feature where you could test out a word to see if it would work. I would like to have that option again.

A fun and challenging word game. Unfortunately it’s acceptable word base is terribly flawed. Words I can find in reputable dictionaries are not allowed while slang, acronyms and nonsense words are allowed. Very frustrating.

This is the best game. Just when you think you are losing, bang! You find a word to surpass your opponent. I don’t have great statistics, but I find this game extremely challenging! Excellent for refining thinking skills!
notifications not working / now fixed

Absolutely love this game, but about a week or so back the notifications (when it’s your turn) stopped working. Since this didn’t immediately follow either an UpWords lite or Apple iOS update, I do not know where the fault lays. However, it is a glaring problem and it needs rectified ASAP. Let us know what the . . . . and get it fixed, ok, please ? of note, I emailed twice already and have not heard back. 5/20/19 addendum - no explanation of the problem or fix was given but I did receive an email “saying it should work now, and sorry for the inconvenience”. It is working now, sure hope it stays that way.
Ads are deceptive

Some ads hide the “X” to get out of them as the same color as the background. Shady business practice. The game is fun, though.

Love the game. Has some serious glitches though. Doesn’t run very smoothly. they play political ads in between the players turns. It’s not about who I’m voting for, who I like who I want impeached or anything like that at all. I don’t, I repeat I don’t, I do not want to see political ads when I’m trying to relax and play a game! So I deleted it from my phone and I deleted it from my app store list of apps. Yes I contacted them and they did not even have the courtesy to respond. And they sure as heck didn’t change the ads. So… GONE! Deleted! Bye! Bye! No more! And no I don’t want to pay $3.99 for the ad free version.
