For the true word game lovers out there, this is an incredibly frustrating game, as many valid words will not be accepted. I've tried to figure out what dictionary the game uses and contact the developer, but the "Developer's Website" takes you to an unused domain that's up for grabs. Take the word "retunes," for example which is accepted in Merriam Webster, Random House (Dictionary.com), Collins, and even the free, open-source ENABLE2k word list, which is the source that Words With Friends uses. And yet, this word is not accepted. This is only one of myriad examples. There is nothing more frustrating than playing something which you know to be valid and not having it be accepted. Were it not for this bug, I would love this game.

Thank gawd it’s not scrabble. However, this game’s dictionary is really complete at the 5th grade level. The developers do not count as real words words that are real words, such as “teats” and “boner” (to name just two of hundreds of real, harmless words). Weird, prissy, annoying. The developers should be embarrassed as hell (oops and oh, my!) for denying those of us with robust vocabularies the chance to idle away the time using all the real words we know and love. Still, it’s a fun and addictive game in spite of its limitations and in spite of the three stars it gets for being so clean and careful.

Fun if ESL in India...needs work.

Word scramble games are always fun, especially for crossword fans, but this misses the mark. Obviously uses odd dictionary, nonmainstream, not British English nor American English; best I can decipher from an ESL country, doesn't allow so many common of English words: hate, rate, orca,pimp,sone, Boer etc, Needs work. This will frustrate you, cause you to lose time. It also does not include any help for free or paid versions. As per reviews, there's words included that don't exist in any mainstream English dictionary.Maybe they’re using a scrabble dictionary..?Tip for programmers;:USE a Standardized Eng, Dictionary.ie:Oxford, MerriamWebsters, or AmerCollegiate.Players: Don't take it seriously and don't compete, just for passing time waiting.

This has the makings of a good game but the frustration of finding made up words and incoherent definitions makes this app mediocre at best.

Too many things left out that would otherwise make this a great game. Found words not listed alphabetically. And the dictionary must be the devs own official public work (sarcasm), because it’s not Merriam-Webster or Oxford. I’m pretty sure it’s the developer being ‘politically correct’ but leaving out words intentionally makes no sense. For example, the six letters that make up the word P-H-R-A-S-E. Somehow rape is not a word. I’m guessing p.c. But what about SHAPER? Your telling me that’s not a word (look it up for Pete’s sake). So I missed out on major points not getting the six letter word. Another reviewer stated the word gay wasn’t listed as well, strengthening my argument that the developer is trying to be politically correct or sensitive. WITH VOCABULARY??? Funny because our education system has no problem instilling the N word in our society by repeatedly pushing ‘great American literature’ like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. No ‘p.c.’ when it comes to real life so let me have my vocabulary words.
