I really like the app but…

...there is so much I cannot do. I really love this app but I want it to continue to succeed. There are's somethings it doesn't have that keep me from giving up Feedly. Problems in the Unread app: Requires one to check readability view to read many of these articles. Tedious extra steps. Swipe, select, swipe back. Does not let me select a word and get a Dictionary definition. I want a "show all articles" button (like in Feedly) so that I can see all past articles on the blog. Essential for reading great newly discovered blogs. Cannot add feeds in the app. I must go to Feedly or Newsfeed to simply add a new feed.

Best RSS reader, hands down.

I've tried a bunch of different RSS readers on the iPhone and this is the best yet. The UI is clean and intuitive and it functions really well. Absolutely worth the money.

The Minimalist's RSS Reader!

Unread is a beautifully designed RSS Reader that makes catching up on the news a pure delight. The design of the interface capped off with the high-end Whitney Typeface makes the app a true original in the App Store. Interactions within the app are also well thought out and enhance the overall experience. It would be great to see feed management and persistent Readability mode (on a per-feed basis) added to make Unread a one-stop shop for RSS. As it stands, Unread is an essential app for improving the consumption of your favorite news sources. Here's hoping the developer will keep Unread going strong and that users will support it with their purchase.

Works quite well with fever

I've been using this for a few weeks now with my self-hosted Fever app. Beats the other app I used to use hands down. My only complaint is the available fonts, even in paid mode. Everything is too thin because the author is determined to make his app look like Apple instead of being readable.

Beautiful app -best of the RSS applications, in my opinion- and very intuitive controls. Second to none in terms of usability, themes, readability. I love Reeder, but Unread tops it in looks and controls. There's only a couple things missing: 1- subscribe/unsubscribe feeds; 2- 3D Touch. I would also LOVE to see an Unread Mac App!

Wow, an RSS reader that won't let you read RSS feeds without paying for extra features in the app. If only there were other free RSS readers out there...

Very clean and functional interface. Feels natural, easy one hand swiping. Great color themes. Best RSS app for a phone. Support for Fever could be better if Hot list visible and mark as read on scroll worked. These subtract one star from an otherwise five stars app.

I finally know why it used to be so slow

I used to open unread for more than 10 seconds. It drives me crazy because I enjoy the fine design of this so much. Today I just realized that I enabled thumbnails feature and it is the cause of my performance complaint. Now it opens really fast. I have to correct the 3 star review. This is simply the best RSS reader out there.
