They had a app that worked for the 755/955. I have 8 cameras I find them useless now since they got rid of guardians 2 app. It’s been a year no updates so should I assume no more support or am I being forced to buy new cameras by the time the system finds a camera I’ll be in a nursing home

Uniden Abandoned its Customers--don't trust

App originally worked really well. Uniden stopped marketing the cameras and abandoned the people who bought their product. Nothing in it for them, so no reason to keep app functioning. No reason to trust them on any new products. Like others, I can't change between cameras. I can usually see only my camera #1 and can't see the other three. Using a VPN to the home network doesn't improve the performance. A real breach of trust.

Very expensive system. Cameras may last a year. Poor product support at Uniden. I talked to someone there who knew nothing and couldn’t answer questions. I was able to view the cameras remotely until Feb 2018. We cannot view the cameras remotely anymore.

Just like everyone else, I downloaded this app because the old one was no longer supported for new ios updates. I can see 1 out of 3 cameras 95% of the time. I can switch cameras all day long but only camera 1 shows.

What an awful app. Trying to switch between cameras is often an exercise in futility. It is very slow to switch, if it ever does. I can almost never see all four cameras on any of my systems. At least the old Guardian 2 app worked. If that app isn’t updated for iOS 11, or if this app isn’t fixed, I will likely replace all the cameras at the several locations I monitor with a competitor. This is junk, and Uniden should know better.

No G455 support

Unfortunately with iOS 11 the internet connection no longer works with G455 ,it does connect to the system but only Wi-Fi viewing.

Will only pull up camera 1 and when you select any other camera nothing happens or the screen goes black.

I just installed today to replace the Guardian 2 since it gets a message that it will not be supported soon. I like this app better. It's easier to switch cams. That all said... It is still very slow to switch cams at times and sometimes will not switch at all. I’ve found that it is pretty much useless if you are not in your own home Wi-Fi.

This is the worst app on the market!! The cameras are fine, but unless you are at home looking at the LED screen, forget it!! The app DOES NOT WORK 80% of the time. I have called U idea a dozen times about it and they also have the worst Customer Service in America!!! The cameras are useless without the app. I updated my iPad and now this app won’t even open because the developer needs to update the app to iOS 11 and that’s not likely to happen since they are already 4 updates behind the times!! Do yourself a favor and avoid Uniden products!!!!
