Excessive exposure to Ultraviolet radiation can have severe effects on your health, from sunburns, eye damage, skin aging to the big oh-no: skin cancer. That's why it's important to take measures to protect yourself and knowing the current radiation level is the first step to preventing harm.
Going outside? A quick glance at the vibrantly glowing, color coded interface will tell you what level of protection you need.
Please note that there are no correlation between UV index and temperature. So, even the temperature is low, it doesn't mean the UV index is low as well, and vice versa.

I haven’t had any issues with this app and have used a couple of years.i really like that u can move the map around to neighbouring areas or across the globe.

I have fair skin and use this almost every day in spring, summer, fall before going outside. It’s very helpful and accurate.
Doesn't work

Every day I checked this it said the uv index was 10 so I became a bit skeptical. Checked the app today and of course it said 10 however when i looked it up online the uv index is 4. The app just does not work.

Doesn’t update based on time of the day. If you want to tap for more details, you will end up tapping on the ads to purchase the full version easily. In my case, my touchID enabled the unintended purchase. So stay away from this app!

Hmmm...can’t even give me my current temp? Just the same insanely annoying pop-up 4, yes FOUR times while I attempted to read your directives on “moderate.....etc.....”eh, nope sorry, delete.
Way too many ads & sleaziness

Not just a few ads-many ads all the time. Plus, many requests for iTunes password when no thing has been requested. Very dirty.
