i got a notification so i clicked on it and downloaded the app to see what it was and it asked if certain people went to my school so i would click yes or no and it TEXTED PEOPLE FROM MY SCHOOL THAT I TAGGED THEM and it’s so embarrassing and now they’re going to think i’m creepy and i hate it so much.

It’s an amazing app but recently my boyfriends location hasn’t been updating. We’ve both reinstalled the apps but it won’t work??

I liked the app at first before it changed because now it says the address of where you are . Like if you were at home and you have it as you’re at home it says the address! Random people you don’t know could come to your house !! Also it says your phone number. When I was adding people or if it were asking me does this person go to school with you or do you know this person. At the bottom it would say their phone number! Some of these people I don’t know and it was just saying their number !! ITS A VIOLATION OF EVERYONE WHO USES IT PRIVACY!

This app takes your contacts and spams all you friends. Parents. Be carful - your kids are on it - how are they hanging out ?

When the app gives you the cutesy Tinder-like modal for adding your contacts as friends within the app, it is actually doing something far more sinister which has for years been derided or altogether banned for being clearly deceptive and malicious dark design: as you're tapping/swiping "yes" to add your contacts as friends, there is a sudden and absolutely reprehensible shift in diction from "add" to "invite" at the top of the screen, so instead of adding your contacts who already have accounts within Twenty as friends within the app, you're suddenly and unsuspectingly "inviting" your random contacts to join the app, and ostensibly Twenty would then attempt to text your contacts on your behalf inviting them to use the app. How dare Twenty engage in such transparently malicious dark design by tricking its users into accidentally inviting their contacts to the app. There are plenty of ways to grow an app's user base, but stealing your users' contacts and pushing your marketing out to them is utterly reprehensible. DO. NOT. MANIPULATE. YOUR. USERS. I am so sick of this kind of behavior, especially from apps that depend so heavily on user trust. Twenty, remove that feature IMMEDIATELY. It is an affront to anyone who cares about not spamming their contacts with unwanted invites to random apps. I'm completely sickened that you would stoop to such deceptive design, and I'm now warning all of my friends to avoid using your app.

This app tracks where you are that would mean whoever is running the app knows you are. Is it just me or does anyone else find that to be pretty creepy?
