Tweetbot 3 is a ripoff cause they charge for upgrade to Tweetbot 4. They are other developers who are less greedy. I deleted it.

Tweetbot is, and has been, one of the best apps on the App Store period. Tapbot's is an amazing developer team and I love that they're loyal to Apple's OS's. Ever since pulling their garbage and neglected apps and focusing on making a few great apps they've been crushing it. People will always whine and complain in a world where freemium apps are aplenty, but I love Tapbot's work and I will gladly pay $10 every few years to support them and their continued work. Keep it up gents, and ignore the hate.

The greed of these dev's keeps driving users away as it should! If you want a great Twitter app look into Twitterrific. I have not been charged for any updates since I switched after Tweetbot tried to charge me for updating from version 3 to 4. I have no affiliation with Twitterrific. I just see how an app should be supported and want to alert as many people as possible to stay away from Tweetbot!

In summary: I regret ever having paid for this app. It's been deleted to simply use the stock app on my phone. The only thing this app really ever offered me over the stock Twitter app was a better look and feel. And that's not worth $10 every update... 3/21/2016 update: Forcing me to pay $9.99 for the new version is unacceptable. You can justify it all you want, but you'd be wrong. Especially when even the new version lacks the ability to perform some of the most basic Twitter tasks. Unfortunately the app must be operated in conjunction with twitter's stock app for various reasons such as notifications and that's not really acceptable.

Lol the previous two comments gave tweetbot 3 5 stars and admitted they bought 4; why did you buy it then idiots ¿? Anyway, tweetbot 3 before the release of 4 and after it are two different stories. Now, 3 has stopped getting updates for very basic features, like voting, likes instead of favs, and fixes for bugs, which are must likely bugs that have been purposely added after the release of 4. Shame on you, whoever developed this app and left it like this.
$10 for an update!?

Tapbot you are kidding me. You are greedy and have lost a customer that used to be loyal. At least 10 of my friends have bought this app because of me. I started using the native twitter app, I will never pay for you again!
