Many times I've felt indifference towards drum machines that are just a sequencer with a very common sound library with no real personality, haven't you?
I didn't want TweakyBeat to be like that. I wanted to built a simple drum machine that felt alive. TweakyBeat is quirky, monophonic and full of personality, and it produces electronic loops with tons of groove!
It's super simple interface makes you build loops in seconds.
It uses oscillators and synthesis, not samples, so you can tweak the hell out of those parameters, creating very alive, analog circuitry like sounds.
Just clear and fun to use.

This might be the best app out there. All that it should be, no more no less. Well, maybe if you could add layers, extend measures- but only stuff I wanna do cuz the sounds and interface are so rad!

Proof that less is more! All I might change would be to rewrite the graphics using vectors so it scales well on an older iPad. Thank you so much for TweakyBeat...it couldn't be more glorious!

Copy/paste please (I want the beats I tweaked to ship to other apps without recourse to my laptop...otherwise I'd be using VST on my laptop to tweak beats, right?)
Fun, cool, lots of character

Like the name of this drum machine says, this drum machine is pretty tweakable. Coming up with some cool, useful, unexpected and unusual sounds is right there with some manipulation of the sliders. I'd give it at least another star if it could play more than one voice at a time. Without that ability, this app is kind of a toy, when it could be something great if further developed. Maybe the developer can hook up with a 3rd party sequencer app maker and multiple voices can be added. I would use this thing in live performance if that happened. The swing control also needs to be adjusted so that all amounts of swing are useful. A perfect example of a swing fader done right is the one in Funk Box, which also has a great multi-voice sequencer. A little more work and Tweaky Beat could be legendary.

I had this app before and to be honest I deleted it because it was very limited and I could not save my work. After looking through some of my deleted apps I thought I would give it another go. I am glad I did! The implementation of live recording and clipboard has me very happy. It is a cool little app with some decent sounds. I always find myself going back to this app for a quick beat fix!! Love it!!!!!!
