Great App for Organising Tv Shows and Anime, but there’s an Anime bug

lei_winn

Great app - truly one I rely on since I watch so many different tv shows and anime. However I do noticed once you mark an anime episode as watched the total episode count that’s in brackets disappears until you close and reopen the app. It’s a bug that needs fixing. Other than that it’s the perfect app.

Good app buttt

Ugh! Can not search for anything it keep loading and keyboard doesn’t popup. Update didn’t fix this.

Great App but needs more social interaction!

First off this is seriously the best app when it comes to keeping track of TV shows hands down. But it really needs a main friends feed page. I’ve gotten a lot of friends and people to start using TV Time but I can’t even see if their caught up with me on episodes or what cool new stuff they’re watching without the process of going to my follow list, finding them, visiting their profile and scrolling down to Up To Date. It would be nice to have like a check in/status update OR just at minimum a post saying Josh watched Riverdale s01e01 for example and an option to comment or “heart” it. Right now all you get is a small circle profile pic next to an episode your friend watched. Blink and you’ll miss it. You could even have toggle/auto news feed post options like when you leave a comment or “like” a status/check in. Or what you rated an episode and who your favorite character was tonight. Even further why have 2 full page tabs; one dedicated to Upcoming and one for Watchlist? Shouldn’t those be in the same page tab? Like just a notch at the top of the screen to switch between the two? They’re so close in comparison it’s weird that they have two separate areas completely when you virtually have the same options while viewing them. I think users are smart enough to toggle between them and have a separate tab for a friend feed. TV Time never really gets any friend interaction besides random people in a comment section but it would definitely push this app to the next level if you could see a friends news and update feed. TV Time should be fun with your current friends with the opportunity to discover new shows AND random new friends along the way.

Great TV/Movie Tracker

HisSparkles

I got this app about 3 months ago and am very happy with it. TV/Movies are my favorite way to chill out but when I watch several shows at once I can easily forget which episode I last watched. Now that’s not a worry. I love the poll of fave character per episode and being asked for my reaction to the show/movie. The comments feed adds interest and entertainment. I haven’t used the app enough yet to really know if I’m happy with the recommendations it suggests. I wish I was able to record where I watched each show/movie. With so many different streaming services now available it can be quite complicated. Being able to choose from the big names such as Netflix, Hulu, Crave, Disney+, and Prime Video plus a write in other would make my life a LOT easier. Thanks for a great app!

Used to be accurate

Streaming services for certain shows are inaccurate.

Best app ever.

Every episode of every show has a great description and rating, you can also chat with people about the episodes. It also records how many episodes you’ve watched and how long it took to watch them. It’s amazing. I’m an avid anime watcher and was worried it wouldn’t have the titles I wanted but it literally has everything. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone interested.

Big red flags on privacy!

TannerBannerBigDog

I downloaded this app and spent an hour setting it up adding shows and movies that I’ve watched or I’m interested in figuring doing so would help it make more relevant recommendations. A couple hours later I get a notification that “Aleksa Sexxclub” is now following me in the app. I don’t want anyone to follow me. So I go into the settings and there are no options to prohibit others from following me or to block Aleksa from following me. There is an option that shows how many people are following me, but it shows “0” which is not accurate or current obviously given Aleksa is stalking me. There is an option called “Private Account” but there is no description (actually none for any settings) and it was disabled. I enabled this (hoping it would make my account private and prevent others from seeing what I’m watching and following me), but multiple times the Private Account setting was set back to disabled after I enabled it, left the settings menus and then went back to check the setting. This is the worst privacy I’ve ever seen in an app and I am reporting it to Apple. I can’t believe this app is so highly rated. Functionality does seems good, but apparent privacy holes and lack of controls are inexcusable. Thank goodness when I set the app up I chose to use my Apple ID Anonymously and didn’t connect it to any other social or app accounts I own.
