The audio went to a commercial, but the TV didn't show the commercial until about 7-10 seconds later

Well you have to continue to give your GPS signal which drains your battery and makes it so they can track you... Also when scanning if there is any banner from your news station... weather, school delays, watches and warnings etc. it is unable to find the network. For sure better options out there.

Bluetooth transmitter and earpiece works great and no need to reveal personal data to Tunity. Who needs it? They are giving it away to get personal info to sell to others. I uninstalled Tunity.

The majority of poor reviews are based on a time when the App required Location Services be on Always or Never. Always is unnecessary since it’s a battery drain and a privacy issue. Never means there’s no reason to have the app on your device because it won’t work. The option of When using App has been added. Since the ability of the App to work effectively is based on location this is the way to go. As for the App it works pretty well. I only gave it a short test. I didn’t have the time to test cable vs. streaming or any other kind of channels. I don’t have an antenna system which may also have different results.

As someone who lives in a noisy household and too also works in a rather loud workplace, this works really well. It’s a little frustrating at first with keeping your hand steady as you scan the TV, but once it works it works well. Definitely better than running a cable from the TV to earbuds and so to hear, and it works well later at night when people are trying to sleep. I look forward to using it more ahead.

App does its job at my local Y for watching TV, but I’m now uninstalling as something suspicious is going on with this app. I haven’t used it in more than 2 months and have background app refresh turned off and yet, its using 2% of my battery in the last 24 hours and 2% for the last week. This is the only app showing battery usage on my phone that I know I haven’t used. No thank you.

It uses location services intrusively there is no way it actually uses location services to detect if you’re in front of a TV (how does that even make sense, do they have GPS coordinates of every TV? Lol) also if your phone locks at all the audio stream ceases even with location services always enabled. The ads are ridiculous and why does this need a twitter feed that you can’t even tailor to your preferences lol. This app is probably just mining and selling your location and personal data.

This app fails more than it works. Sometimes it takes 8-9 tries to recognize a signal. And even then the reception is terrible. My settings are correct-it just is a bad app.

The audio in my hearing aids is 20-30 seconds behind the audio on the tv, making the app ineffectual.
