I had great success with this app. I saw my truck on a Saturday, and locked in my price, which was a great deal. The dealer said someone was coming in the next day to see buy it. I said if anything happens, let me know. The deal fell through, and it was back on for $900 more. I told them I had my TrueCar price, and they honored it. I went up the next day, and picked up my truck. I am extremely happy with it, and how much I paid for it. Another thing I like about this app over most others is that they tell you exactly what packages are in the vehicle, so you know exactly what options are included. I found this very helpful in weeding out the trucks that didn’t fit my criteria. I plan on keeping this truck for a while, but would always use this if I’m in the market for a new or used car.

Very difficult to navigate. Screens take forever to load. Cookies pop-up keeps popping up even after reading the privacy policy. I’ll try this app again in a couple of years if TrueCar last this long

I used to use that app all of the time. I even found my current car by using this app. The app on my iPhone Pro is so glitchy now. Please fix it or I'm gonna have to find an alternative. Thanks ✌?

Wanted to get lease offers like I did from TrueCar.com a few years ago, only provided auto purchase deals and an onslaught of calls from carpet bagger car salesman

I guess this is helpful if you have no idea how dealerships work, or that you simply ask for their invoice from the factory and pay about $300 over that, or less. If not you walk. It’s just that simple. It’s been that way for decades. Sure you might end up fighting with them, but to save a few grand, who cares. This service just sends your info to dealers so your inbox blows up. One dealer literally sent me 6 emails in a matter of minutes. Wait to the end of the month and go in and demand their invoice. They’ll give you anything you want to hit their numbers. If you are buying used, just get Carvana and you don’t have to talk to anyone.

Do not use this app. They are sell outs you will only see inventory from dealerships that “work” woth true car so you will not see everything they advertise huge savings but really it’s the same pricing as you would get directly from a dealer. They show msrp pricing and show the sales price to you but it is just discounted by normal incentives that are available nothing special. And your phone will be blown up with text emails and calls immediately. As soon as I did a search it started saying contacted on serveral dealerships I didn’t want to “contact them” then the emails and calls started flooding in.

I never even made it to the point where I would attempt to make contact with a seller via the app because the app itself is clunky and poorly designed. While viewing a listing photos regularly do not load (or blank photos are allowed to be uploaded)...
