Stop messing with what’s good...

Just saw the update and hate the overly busy features, they’re too visually intrusive! The new wave catching “power circle” thing is the worst. I can’t see the wave and if I’m too deep on the takeoff! And all the other “behind the wave” & “shaka” pop ups are unnecessary as well. You “fixed” what didn’t need to be fixed. Seriously, get rid of the new visual prompts. Now... how about boosting my scores when I make long, almost unmakable barrels and also letting me land the huge airs! And make better equipment slightly more obtainable/affordable.

Don't get fooled again!

I was saving up for a new beater for a while and when I payed for it I didn’t have it in my quiver and it charged me 3 500 clamshells but other than this it’s a great game

New drop in indicator is trash

Game is still fun, but with the new drop in indicator, you sometimes can’t see it if you take off close to the edge of the screen. It also seems intrusive and clunky in the middle of the screen. The old one was much better.

UPDATE LAME like Rick Kane board shorts. Take off reticle is distracting to the point of annoying. Every wave is now the same with a close out and timed escape. Took a fun game and WSL’d it. Two thumbs down.

The circle takeoff/ drop in thing....no. What were you thinking? It’s in the way and annoying. The overly vibrating Shaka. Guys, come on. How about more affordable boards and higher scores for barrels and performance. Was this updated by a 9 year old? How about a purchase entire game option. How about losing the circle takeoff thing. How about reverting to the last update and focus on more accurate surf spot models. WTH.

The new update added this horrible circle thing to tell you when to drop. It also made you super flippin slow and harder to do airs..... i thought updates were suppose make the game better? Not take an already borderline game and make it worse.

I like it and too see more devlopment will be awesome.

That circle thing is so annoying, I hardly play anymore. There was nothing wrong with the old way.

This app is the best mobile surfing game on the planet. It’s so realistic and fun. As a game I give it 5 stars. But I have no idea what they are thinking with the update. The recent one just fixed stuff that from a user perspective wasn’t broken. Now the “moves” are shown across the top and it stops you seeing the next wave you want to catch. The new drop in semi circle is really awkward and to small and covers the wave. The old bar was perfect. As a user here are some update that could add value: Better surf spots. Half the spots never break, like the Keramas, Huntington, Rincon etc. and even if they do get waves they are so bad. The game would encourage you to travel more if other spots were better. Add two player or some actual purpose to having friends on the app. Make the surfboards slightly more affordable. I get the game is to make money, but the clam prices to what you can actually earn are a touch off. Provide a daily notification or surf alert if a spot is about to turn Epic. Overall - it’s a killer game. In fact it’s the only game I actually play and I’ve got lots of my friends onto it. Probably why this is the first review I’ve written on a game. Keep making this game epic.
