Almost as good as the PC version

LynneSin97

A few minor issues I hope future upgrades fix: 1.) it seems I can’t upgrade my housing with A/C 2.) No Customs building 3.) wish there were some of the expansion features like The Creamery, Pearl Farms and Plantations Even with these issues I still play

You Rule!

Been addicted since the very first OG Tropico. I own every game and addition Kalypso and their partnerships have produced. All I can say is Thank You and well done on this App. ?

Getting better with each update

iPad (Pro)’s first good city-builder title!

Chris Cary

This has quickly become my favorite game on my iPad Pro, and it makes what-should-have-already-been-obvious obvious in how to make the iPad a computer gaming device. I’ve really been hoping for a city builder in the vein of SimCity without a handicapped interface, without in-app purchases, without free-to-wait timers…and they really did it. This really is the actual experience that we grew up with, but on today’s platform. EA really ought to notice…but they won’t. They’re too busy turning our childhood franchises into casino machines. If this is a harbinger of things to come from Feral, I can’t wait to see what’s next! I’d personally have paid twice as much for such a good game.

A REAL iOS Game

Kirkymonster

I just bought and downloaded and played a bit, awesome game and wanted to throw my support towards the developer for releasing a REAL game on iOS. Wish tons of people buy this to show support for these kinds of full games on iOS. Knights of the Old Republic is another great port if you want a full game experience without annoying micro transactions, etc. Keep up the great work!

Location without authorization

deyvi

Why trópico is suing my location in the background even if I haven’t authorized?

Keeps crashing

mj969696

Although the game has great potential it crashes, loosing my progress, even few minutes. It’s so frustrating and I wish I hadn’t purchased it.

One of the best games for the iPad.

alexshurly

I previously wrote a bad review due to battery life but that problem seems to be fixed. This is one of the best games in the App Store. Works flawlessly on my iPad Pro 11”. Feral hit a home run with Rome: Total War and it seems that they did it with this one too. I really really hope to see Medieval 2: Total War, Empire: Total War and Anno 1701/Dawn of Discovery in the App Store one day.

Great game
