Great game, but company gave up

Nakupendwa

I love this game and even spent a ton of time making my own channel with over 500 questions. But the app hasn’t been updated in a year and unfortunately doesn’t seem to be compatible with the newest IOS update. Or just crashes when you try to answer questions, even on my husbands phone. It’s such a bummer that the developers gave up on this!

Very fun

In my opinion, kingdoms is way more fun than trivia crack. Trivia crack is full of a bunch of obscure facts that I couldn’t answer if my life depended on it. Kingdoms allows you to choose channels and pick whatever category of questions you want to answer. The only reason I rated this four stars is because you can send people like DM type things, and I’ve gotten some pretty nasty stuff from people I don’t even know...

Kingdoms Is Okay

It’s not as fun as Trivia Crack but it’s still a great trivia game. It’s fun and I always learn new stuff when I play it. It’s a fun and healthy workout for my brain.

Enjoying

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!??????????

I like the normal trivia crack but getting choose what you want is great. That’s all I have to say

Bad ads

madsmommy99

This game is incredibly fun and my whole family enjoys it. However, the ads are incredibly inappropriate for children. The ad that plays 75% of the time is for a game called ‘choices’ with sexually suggestive situations and you can choose what you would do. I choose to delete this game, sadly.

Fun game too many ads

Teen female

This would be way better if there wasn’t an ad literally every time you exit a round

Terrible questions

Hossc623

Great premise for a game but it was nearly impossible to play an entire game without getting a totally incomplete and unanswerable question. How are you supposed to answer “At what age did George Washington? I just deleted it bc it’s a total waste of time.

Too Many Wrong Answers, no support

FurBear

Update: Lately many of the questions are incomplete, such as "What business was once known as". Turns out the correct was Costco, but without the full question, there's no way to correctly answer it. Also, technical support is non-existent. ------------------------------------- Original Review I like the game concept but have come across too many answers which are misleading or simply wrong. For instance: 1) In the Harry Potter books, whose birthday is July 31? Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom are listed, and BOTH were born on July 31, so answering either is correct however the answer list doesn't give an option of "both Harry and Neville". 2) Also related to Harry Potter, the question asked what happened to Neville Longbottom's parents. According to the game, the correct answer is that Voldemort killed them which is absolutely wrong. His parents were driven insane by he Cruciatis Curse which was administered by Bellatrix Lestrange and her husband. As detailed in Order of the Phoenix, they were permanently hospitalized in St Mungo's. The creators of this game needs to vet the questions more thoroughly.

Loopholes and Bugs

Trivia games are great, and Trivia Crack has the potential to be one of the best out there. Kingdoms focuses on categories of questions that are specific to topics you can pick and choose. Want to test your knowledge about your favorite TV show? Great! With Kingdoms you can do just that. However, while this nifty focus is Kingdoms greatest merit, it is also its biggest downfall. Channels in Kingdoms are moderated by its users, and this means that all questions are created by users. Unfortunately that means the questions are riddled with spelling and grammar errors, incorrect answers, or just overall utter nonsense. While you can vote questions Fun or Boring (thumbs up, thumbs down), little is done to rectify the horrible structure of the questions. On top of this, when creating your own channel and adding your own questions, there are bugs in place that prevent you from typing certain characters, such as apostrophes, and thus only quantifies the aforementioned problem with user moderates questions. These bugs have survived for a VERY long time as well it seems, and that’s likely an example of the level of dev support you can expect. Trivia Crack has also gone across tad overboard on the ads, presenting one nearly after every question, and also presenting you with opportunities to watch even more ads in between those for various power ups or question. support. This provides a HUGE problem when going head to head against another player, as you are given the opportunity to watch an ad in the event of a wrong answer to simply... try again. I’m sorry, but in a trivia contest, a wrong answer is just that, and you shouldn’t be offered an opportunity to try again. It sort of defeats the purpose, and makes victory feel cheap and undeserved. My advice to the developers: decrease the amount of advertisements shown, and simply offer a cheap method of removing them all together. Also get rid of the second chance opportunities. They are a blight on trivia games. My advice to gamers: Trivia Crack is a fun game, but it has a shelf life. Don’t get too excited about creating your own channel, as the bugs will drive you insane, and the down votes you receive from players because they simply don’t know the answers is eyeroll-inducing.
