Works really well during Covid-19

This is the best trip assistant app ever!!! I’ve been using this app from when they launched and always loved it so far. In this COVID-19 situation traveling is not the same. Flights gets canceled, rerouted, delayed all kinds of things happen. This is what just happened. Delta canceled one of my international flights. I found this out because TripIt warned me. Delta never mentioned anything to me. I’m a “Diamond, one million miler” status but Delta never notified anything. When I got the flight cancellation notice from TripIt and nothing from Delta I almost thought TripIt might have made a mistake. I logged into Delta web page and site enough my international flight was canceled. I was able to switch to alternative route so I’m ok but I’m amazed by the promptness and accuracy it TripIt. I already could not trace without TripIt. Now I can’t even plan without TripIt. Love this app !!!

Thanks Tripit for a great travel App and the free months of PRO for the Covid months. That was a very nice gesture from an excellent company. If I were a frequent or business traveler, I would buy the Pro version without hesitation!
Love the interface, but you can only plan for one city.

I’m planning trips with my high school friends to go backpacking around Europe and Africa. This obviously must include various cities in one trip — this app doesn’t allow for this, though. Given that only a few of our trips are single-city trips, I don’t think I can use this app. Otherwise, the interface seems very intuitive and sleek, but it just isn’t the right match for me. If this app were made to be compatible for multiple places in one trip, I’d definitely consider using this app in the future.

I received an alert showing that my flight had been delayed. The alert came at. It was a delay from 0700 to 1730. I caught a taxi to a nearby hotel. I came back to the airport at 1500. The airline said that the flight was not cancelled. I would have to wait until the next morning to catch the next flight. I then had to buy another ticket. I made a recommendation to add VERIFY or VERIFY WITH CARRIER/AIRPORT to the end of alerts like that. We all know that travelers can get quite tired. I told them that I didn’t want to know their sources, only why the alert was wrong in general with no specifics needed. Otherwise, I see it as their reputation that takes a hit, especially with your pro membership. I did not want to speak ill of this company, if I didn't have to. The only compensation that I got was a free year of Tripit Pro. Tripit said, “We do not release our sources for where we receive our travel alerts information but have passed your feedback on to the appropriate team to help prevent future issues.” There is no way to know if they actually did that. You don’t need this for a week long trip to the same beach you go to every year. But if you are an adventurous traveler with vacations that involve multiple destinations, activities, etc., it will quickly become indispensable. Great for sharing your itinerary when you meet fellow travelers as well.

To be perfectly honest, I am not an active traveler but at least 2 to 3 times a year, need to catch a plane. When I do, the app is great to keep track of the trip from beginning to end.

We have had Tripit for several international trips and recently got the pro version. It has been a great way to organize, plan, and execute our trips and the pro version was most notable in the airports. It alerted us of when our gate gets changed and baggage claim area before we even make it to the boards to look. And it is always accurate. We are Tripot users for life!
