I’ve been using TripIt for several years and can’t imagine managing all my travel details without it!
iPad update terrible

This update took away many user friendly options and is visually unappealing and hard to use. Trip view use to have a split screen with itinerary on left, details on right. It's gone. And now it's more clicks and harder to use while in a busy airport. Stop screwing with it!!
iPad experience = iPhone experience. Is that good?

The iPad app needed updating, but this seems to be a direct port of the iPhone version, dismissing anything the additional screen real estate might bring to the experience. There is no right/left pane interaction; every selection brings you to a new screen. And the map - which was nice but needed bettering - is apparently gone entirely. I’m not sure we went forward more than we slid back.

From a weekly flier: Skip TripIt Pro. It’s not worth the money. I was hoping to see Flight Tracker’s functionality make it into this app. Very disappointing and not worth the $50/annual fee.
Unable to upload photos

Great App - except it won’t let you upload photos on your device & attach them to event. The option is there, however, it fails most of the time when you try and do it.

I had to move apps since Worldmate has shutdown. So far it looks ok but really could do with integration with other apps eg I cant import contacts, I have to type all details again, does not link to email on phone to auto import trips (only allows specific email providers), does not have OCR/Photo scan for documents such as passport, driving licence, etc., looks like I have to ‘share’ each trip rather than authorising another user to see all trips. Will try it and then decide to either upgrade to pro or pick another app.

I am a long time user and would not go without having TripIt as a traveling companion. Everything is in one place and I really enjoy it!
