A great geocashing-esque long term game!

Traveler's Quest is a very fun long-term game for geocashing nerds. If you like geocashing, taking road trips and talking like a pirate, download this NOW! The in-game buyable upgrades are super helpful but not necessary when you first start out. There's even an active online community of players around the world who are always around to answer questions! Come join the hunt!
Do not waste your time on this app

I do not recommend this game to anyone that values their privacy. The main developer is a player in the game (which is a conflict of interest). Myself and team members spent a lot of money upgrading ourselves in this game only to have the developer remove a valuable treasure from one of our collections and handed off to one of the members on her ship. The game has a lot of defects/glitches that allow others to cheat and the developer states this can't be helped due to lack of funds. Overall a very poor game with a lot of cheating and no privacy.

Gets you off the couch and into the real world. I've seen many new places just playing this game. It makes traveling fun! I've been playing it for over two years. As for the bad reviews below, these are isolated events. Give it a try for a couple of days. You won't be disappointed!!

I have played this game for years! Even with bumps in the road, it's a thrill when a new collection drops for us to find. The players are overall great folks but ruthless when it comes to hunting down those treasures. So much fun!!

I had an electric car and traveled more. Still fun to see who comes thru once in a while (hoping my stuff is buried deeply enough).

Update: This game is still amazing This is by far the most enjoyable game i have ever played on my iPhone. Most other games get boring after a month or so, but the great community of players, responsiveness of developers, and constant addition of collections has kept me playing strong for over a year now. I highly recommend this game for frequent travelers. The game does not require you to spend real money, and everything can be purchased with in game gold if you are patient. I personally think the add ins are all worth the couple of bucks each though. Check out the FB page for the game to learn a ton more. Don't let the few negative reviews sway you, this game is definitely worth a try. But be warned, it is very addictive! :) -AragingBABOON

The one and only... Ghost
Never thought I would be riding my mountain bike to some of the most remote locations... legally of course.... to dig up and bury treasures that do not exist so I can earn gold coins that do not exist. It's so much fun! A couple things I would change though. About the game generated treasures. It would be nice to flag them if they were in areas that were impossible to get to. Maybe a game generated treasure getting flagged by three different players and it gets removed? Who's going to venture into area 51 or in my case parts of the Everglades that don't have roads or canals? My list of treasure maps is clogged by game generated treasures that have been there for three years. Also it would be nice to have the option to bury some of my less valuable treasures at lower levels. It might help the new people out. :) Ghost
