The best

The best training aid/system I’ve ever used!!!!

Does not work with Apple Watch; good for coach feedback

Have to use other indirect aps that do not work well then upload to TrainingPeaks. Frequent errors with allowable aps. Very annoying.

Excellent App

I’ve been running for several years, and training for Sprint distance Triathlons over the last couple of years. Training Peaks has really helped me to get a better handle on my training habits and capabilities. It has helped to keep my training consistent and kept me from overtraining (a key to the consistency). Coupled with a good training program compatible with Training Peaks, I’m very happy with the results. Currently I’m using a Runner’s World Half Marathon plan. Next up are the Matt Fitzgerald 80/20 plans (which I’ve used and had success with prior to using Training Peaks). Finally, also using Joe Friel’s Triathalon Bible (book). Overall a great set of resources for training at my own pace according to my habits.

Great App

Love the detailed analysis I can do using TP. Would like to see better functionality for importing training plans from outside TP.

This is the by far most incredible overall fitness tracking and monitoring software I have ever seen !!! I use it religiously in a goal to achieve injury free (or, at least, extremely mitigated) peak fitness and performance .

Works, Could Be Better

Arts&Ideas

TP works. Tracking, planning even predicting fitness during steady, focused training is made sensible. Unlike Strava, Wahoo or Garmin (I use them all) TP correlates accumulated inputs, creating a set of personal fitness curves. The others just track day to day events. That said, the presentation of information — how data is made relevant and meaningful — caters a bit to engineers, data freaks and geeks. Users have to negotiate screens/pages in the UI built around an old school “dashboard” motif. This is not a dealbreaker — there is no other tool like it — but the limited page customization limits personalization. Even as the best of breed, geeky, blank or impersonal views of data pulls TP from an A to a B.

Navigation is easy

It's very easy to move workouts between days, edit notes, add notes, delete events made in error, and keep track of coach comments. Very pleased with the visual cues in the app.

The best training log, hands down!

I’ve been using TP for over five years, and there’s nothing else that can compare to its analytical tools or ease-of-use! Premium account is pricey but definitely worth it in terms of workout planning and HR analysis
