It's a great concept, very promising, and I'd be excited to play I'd the controls weren't f* awful. When the controls get refined and become easier to use I'll give it another shot.

It could use d pad controls. There's a browser version, and you can tell that this game was designed for arrow keys.

Great job of making a creepy, atmospheric game. Makes you use your head for some of the rooms. All around good experience.

This is really an interesting game; simply designed, straightforward, and atmospheric. The controls are not conventional--as has been mentioned previously--but I find that they add to the challenge of the game. There are several areas where you need to hug the wall as you move while simultaneously making sure that your flashlight doesn't reveal that "something spooky" in the room with you that will cause your character to flee into a spike trap. I just don't see how you could accomplish this with a conventional D-pad. The music is also something that I enjoy about this game. It remains part of the atmosphere and, while it is noticeable throughout, it doesn't distract from the gameplay, but instead augments it. Additional, brief musical queues indicate what is going on in much the same way a film score does which adds to Traal's charm. I hope to see that this game will be further developed as Traal is one of those often too rare hidden gems and once you get used to the controls, it is a uniquely challenging experience.
Fix it Dammit!
Maybe not the scariest game ever, but awesome! It has excellent gameplay, Great ambience, and that screeching sound from that thing that follows you... Holy hell! It's scary!! It's very challenging, and fun trying to get all the scrolls.

It's a short game but it's a lot of fun. You should complete it completely to enjoy it...
