Pretty good keep it up

Wow! This game nails it in just about every single way. The pixel art is tight and thematic, the music is enchanting, the sound effects eerie (in a good way). The controls take just a little while to get used to, but after that they are great and very precise. I think I might like a fixed joystick better, but without trying it I'm not sure. The gameplay is fun and quite engaging. I definitely kept playing until I found every scroll, which I did over the course of 3 playthroughs. I definitely would keep playing if the game were longer. From a game design standpoint, the mechanics are innovative and beautifully simple. This game absolutely nailed the instructions/tutorial. There isn't one! I start a game and what do I do? No idea, guess I'll touch the screen. From there, you figure out the mechanics of moving and what happens when you encounter an enemy. The level design and difficulty curve are laid out such that I can experiment and learn everything myself. This learning and exploration provides a lot of fun and was a brief return of the sheer joy of playing games. I play a huge number of games on my phone. There are about 100 on it at any given time. This is easily one of the best I have ever played. Thank you! I will be buying your other game just to support this one.
