But it would be even better if you made this app for Android as well.I have both an IPad and a an Android phone.I would love to be able to leave my IPad at home and use my Android instead because it’s smaller.can you make an app for use on Android too.I’m sure you will get even more customers..thank you.

I've been using this app for about 5 years now. Hiking, travelling, hunting, and more recently for Search and Rescue. I've used this side-by-side with AllTrails, Gaia, and a handful of others and they all fall WAY short. Incredible interface. Great price. Fantastic customer support.
Best hiking map app I’ve used

I’ve used Topo Maps+ for a couple years now, and hundreds of miles of hiking on many different trails, including the AT. I tend to research and trace out my routes on my iPad and sync it all to my iPhone (which is an automatic process now). Then download the maps to my phone for offline access and print out copies to carry with me. I do find the process of printing the maps to be slightly cumbersome. I’m a bit picky about scaling the maps the way I want, and controlling what exactly is printed, in the way of routes and waypoints. But once I’ve got all that sorted out, the printed results are great. I’m a huge fan of the Natural Atlas map and use it for most of my hikes, whether it be in the wilderness or a local city park. They e really put in the work to include a huge number of trails, in addition to the easy-to-read topo data and shading. I find Natural Atlas to be a lot easier to look at than some of the other maps, while still maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy. (Be sure to check out the online tutorial for using map overlays! Combining a slope sharing overlay with Natural Atlas is really amazing.) On the trail, the app continues to prove its worth with easy access to elevation profiles, trail segments (which you can control with your own custom waypoints), and progress on the trail. It’s nice to be able to look at the app and see how far I have to go to get to the next waypoint (camping spot, overlook, water source - I add waypoints for all of that stuff. Nothing like knowing exactly how far to go before the next stream when you’re getting low on water.) Overall, as with any mapping app, the amount you get out of it often comes down to the amount of time you take to prepare before your hike. And Topo Maps+ lets you do it all, on some very nice maps, with (for the most part) easy-to-use features. It would be a very high bar for another mapping app to prove itself more useful to me than this one.

I love this app! Hi resolution GPS maps you can download and track your location offline. Contour lines show the landscape from a birds view. Track your speed, distance, elevation gain and routes. Bring a backup battery and never be lost. We use this app literally every weekend, and it’s a life saver.

Rather be on Trails
I used another apps for hiking trails prior using Topo Maps. Topo Maps has been great a mobile phone GPS apps. The maps are great. Logging trails and marking waypoints are easy to do. The stats on distance, elevation, hiking duration, etc, are great features and are pretty accurate. Maps download is simple to do. This apps has all the features that I need to track and record my trails. Although I have a GPS, I have been using this apps instead of my GPS. Once I downloaded the maps I need, I can use them offline which is an important feature to me. When I need to reinstall the apps due to phone issue, I don’t lose my recorded tracks which is a big plus. The apps is dependable and has all the features I like to have for my needs. When you have questions regarding the apps, you get response back promptly which I really appreciate. Great apps to use for trails for my needs. Thanks for developed a great GPS apps for mobile phone.

I very much prefer this over AllTrails. The Pro version is worth the money if you hike a lot. The ability to see where you are even when you have no service at all is PRICELESS!! ❤️???????

want get lost again
When I first got this app I was like I’m not sure if I’m going to like this because it had a lot on it. It was even a little hard to get downloaded. I email them and they done a step by step to help me and I got it done. I was browsing through it and then we went on our trip ride and I loved it. It had a lot on it but it was so helpful. It even got us through trails that we wasn’t sure which way to go. I so glad I got this app.
