Going downhill

App has switched to be more a sales tool for all their locations then tracking your own games. What happened to average score and other personal stats now it’s hard to find stats and is filtered by location instead overall.

Couldn’t use the app at my local TopGolf even tho I paid for the membership. Had to pay for another membership under a different email. Place is a joke. Unrelated to the app, I paid my tab in cash and still got my card charged. One month later still waiting for a call back from a so called “manager”. Total chaos.
Doesn’t work

We tried multiple times on various phones to scan and connect the app to our TV but it would not work. Plus it makes you use “Always” in Location settings to use the app and not “Only While Using”.

The “TV Scanner” never works. Why don’t they just allow me to tap my location and bay and hear the volume of the TV from there? Why does Top Golf need to know my location at all times just to hear the TV? They threw an app together with some advertisements to make more money and don’t care about the quality. I deleted 5 minutes after I uploaded it.
Not a replacement for membership card

It’s an okay app with some cool features like finding any Topgolf location or connecting to the remote for a tv in your bay. However, there is no QRC code to scan at a top golf location for easy payment to replace having a membership card in your wallet. It does list your membership number, but I just don’t know why the app isn’t made to look and operate a little more smoothly with the scan code ready to access at a quick tap on the home page. The app doesn’t offer much, and seems a bit clunky in areas like difficulty changing your preferred location, which you should be able to access directly in your profile page where it’s listed, but you have to go to the maps and find it.
Support and App needs work

In Charlotte, App does not work. The remote and leaderboards are not in sync with Charlotte. It’s not just me every guest has same issue. I’ve continually reached out to support team, they are unhelpful and unwilling to fix issues.

I downloaded this app before a group outing and was told I couldn't use the app at Top Golf because it was a group outing or something. Getting ready to go back, now a recent update to the app requires iOS 11 which I don't use. So I never used the app. One star for no backward compatibility.

I love the app, except for that you cannot use/load gift cards in the app. Please make this the next update to the app.

Seems like they didn’t address any of the issues people complained about with this new update. One thing I would like to see is better filters for my game history. I think there should be an option to see all games and all locations on one screen. Then give us the option to filter by location, game, date, etc. And allow us to sort by score, date, etc.
