I like the app a lot. Lots of great workouts & you can cast to your TV. Also the studio is great for accountability. I’m rating 4 stars because I wish the app had a function to “favorite” workouts so that I can easily find them again.

I’ve been having an issue where if I chromcast the workout video to the tv, after I’ve finished the workout, the app doesn’t recognize that I’ve done the workout and restarts the video again on my phone. Other than that, I love this app!

Someone was sharing how they used this app on Instagram and I just downloaded it and absolutely love it! I like to lift weights after my runs but I wasn’t great at having variety in my workouts with weights. I love how the on demand daily workouts vary each day and add something new! As well as having a visual on how to do said workouts. Thank you so much!!

Can’t see 80% of daily moves

I have unlimited data on Verizon LTE and 80% of the daily moves don’t load as I move through the workout. If they’re moves I haven’t done before, I have to pause my workout to look up on the Internet (Safari browner) how to do them. Super annoying!

This app is great in theory, but actually using it is much more difficult than it should be. Watching a workout on your tiny phone isn’t ideal for following along. The screen casting option is so buggy that I’m constantly getting discouraged from using the app. This is the second time I’ve subscribed hoping that the feature would be fixed but it’s still having the same issues. When I cast to Chromecast from my iPhone, the video plays no problem. But then it’s delayed from what’s on my phone. When the workout is over, the workout on my phone is still playing at a different timestamp. If you are screen casting when using the On Demand feature and you need to pause a video, forget about it. It won’t work. It just keeps on playing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to just give up on the workout because my baby needed me and I couldn’t pause it. The variety of workouts are great and they’re challenging and engaging. But without being able to effectively screencast, it’s rendering my subscription useless. :(

I love this app and I love how many amazing videos there are for us to utilize. The workouts are sorted in a very clean way, and I adore the meditation. The daily moves are a great (free) feature too! The first thing I’d love to see change is the fact that you need to have the volume on your phone on to hear anything. I’ve been using the app for about a year and a half, and this is new as of about 6 months ago. It’s very annoying and distraction to have my various alerts making sounds and muting a meditation or video while I’m using the app. The second thing that would be great to see fixed is some glitch that has been occurring since I began using the app where after 7 am, the next class I’m able to join isn’t until 8 pm. I know I can find the workouts on demand, but sometimes it’s nice to have the chat before and after to connect with the community.


On demand videos

Love Tone It Up, love the instructors, and all the options available in videos! I just wish it would log as a workout when I do an on demand video. It logs it fine when I do a scheduled class and when I do the daily moves but when I do an on demand, I have to manually go log my workout instead of it automatically marking it to my weekly workout! This has been a problem the whole time I’ve had the app both when free and a yearly subscriber and through all the updates. Update - 8/16/19 and for some reason this is still a thing. Seems like such an easy thing to fix. I know I can manually log my workouts but it should be automatic when you finish on demand ones, too, for those of us who can’t do right on the hour for scheduled classes!


Audio Issues

I can no longer hear the workouts when I start the videos. Not sure what happened just randomly the audio will stop and even when I shut down the app and restart it I can’t hear a thing!
