I have always had a poor singing voice. There have been some social situations where this has caused self-consciousness/ embarrassment . I am toying with the idea of discretely seeing a voice coach and then surprising spouse and friends by actually singing an easy karaoke song in a public setting and doing a good job of it. I took this test as a first step. It was fast and easy. (I did have to listen to some of the more subtle examples more than once, but scored 36/36! Now for the next step.)

I was basically down with the test when all of a sudden the app popped on me. I entered in again and found that I had to take the entire test over again

As it said in the instructions, this is not a true validation and only a hearing specialist could determine this. However, the test said I’m fine, now I just have to figure out why I am so truly awful when it comes to singing.

This is great for testing beginners So many adults claim to be tone deaf. This would definitely assure them. Dorothy Smith

I actually AM tone-deaf (been tested by doctors) and I just tapped a random button for most of my answers. Tone-deafness isn't that you confuse sounds, it's that you don't hear the difference in pitch, so most of these questions, I couldn't answer, but I didn't have the option to skip.

I saw this online and figured might as well get the app. Works real well although idk what to do now that I took the test (btw I'm not tone deaf!!! Exciting).
