10/10 love this app!!

Check out Oldtable

One stop shop for all practicing needs! It’s got a great and versatile metronome and can provide drones for tuning in any number of timbres and even helps you tune in different temperaments and pitch standards. The user interface is elegantly designed and lays all of this app’s many features out in an instantly navigable way even for technological troglodytes like myself. What’s more, the practice streak feature helps motivate consistent practice habits. I highly recommend TE as a multi purpose practice buddy to anyone who plays a non fixed pitch instrument or sings.

The best music making app!

I’ve been a musician for 30+ years and teach high school music and private piano. This is by far the best iOS app I’ve found for musicians. I always recommend it to my fellow musicians that I work with and use it daily for tuning ukulele and guitar class as well as in band. Also, the metronome function is superior to anything I’ve found. Thank for making such a solid all-in-one app for music making and continuously updating and improving it as well.

It has no mercy

When the going gets tough it speeds up. When the vibrato is too wide it tells in cents. Actually it keeps me on track

Easy, fast, useful.

I have used this app for more than a year. For what? Tuning - guitar, bass, voice. Metronome - very powerful. Each aspect of the app is intuitive for quick use. But each also has depth of function and helpful guidance.

Mixed meter metronome issues

I love this app and use it nearly every day. It’s an excellent place to start my practicing and rehearsals. The ability to create metronome presets is really helpful, but I find it really difficult to program anything with mixed meter. It’s an issue that doesn’t effect everyone, but I’d really appreciate being able to create a click track for a piece with meter changes where the sixteenth note remains constant. The current process is really clunky and makes things really confusing. It’s also impossible to practice things under tempo without editing every single preset. For a piece with probably 80 meter changes, it’s almost not worth it. The current methods for asymmetrical meters are pretty annoying to deal with. I feel like it’s much more common to see music in 7/8 where the tempo is given by the quarter note rather than dotted quarter, and would love for the interface to reflect that.
