This is the absolute best tuner/metronome app I have found.

The app works but it is impossible to navigate
20questions

My main beef is that I’ve had the app for years before I knew it had a recording tab or sound level tab. This is minor but in general it can be confusing and if I’m paying for an app I would like for it to be more thought out than this.

It’s the best. End of story.

It’s a very complicated app. Wish it was more user friendly.

Great app with an annoying bug
Sonofasven

I’ve been using the app for a couple of years now. There’s so much in it, I’ve still only scratched the surface. It’s tuner and metronome are incredibly helpful as a learning tool, and the streaks feature is quite motivating. The bug that has shown up for me is that, with the latest update, after a number of days, I get the banner that says “listening to iPhone microphone.” The problem is that it won’t turn off or go away. This makes it so you can’t see the elapsed time when you’re in portrait mode. To get rid of the message, I have to dump the app, and reload. This resets the defaults and erases the streaks. Could you please address this in a future update?

Not user friendly, difficult to learn and operate
Johnny Dollard

I used this tuner for about a month and got fed up with it when I still couldn’t figure out how to use most of the app’s capabilities. Lots of buttons and functions aren’t labeled well or at all, and there’s often not a clear indication of what exactly it’s doing or what screen you’re looking at. The final straw was when I was having it sustain a drone and it kept moving the tuning up and down by about 4 cents because it was in some sort of just-intonation scale practice mode with no apparent way to shut the function off and drone normally. I’ll take a simple and intuitive tuner, metronome, tone generator, or recorder over this any day.

Best Tuning App
Heavenboundx159x

This is the best Tuning app by far. It’s accurate and easy to use. I also enjoy how it tracks how long you’ve been practicing. Band practice wouldn’t be the same without this tuner
