Release Tomb Raider III Please...!

SirChristopher93

This was a great Tomb Raider game since it was first released in 1997. The controls are alright and has good gameplay, but the rest of the textures needs to be updated in HD. I've beaten Tomb Raider I and II, so now I want Tomb Raider III on mobile. BTW, The Living Quarters level needs some HD textures and needs echo effects in all enclosures.

Glad to see these apps are still being updated. Although the controls are a bit more complex than TR2, I think you should release TR3 square, it's about time.

Amazing! Thank you!!

Unbelievable, I'm so glad Tomb Raider I & Tomb Raider II have been ported to iOS. Square Enix, PLEASE bring over all the other classic Tomb Raiders! ?Thank you for putting this out there and especially including the Gold expansion pack. Fingers crossed for the rest of the classics… (I think a Classic Tomb Raider bundle would be great BTW!)

In love!!!!

I love this classic and it deserves to be on iOS! I never got to play the extra version (gold), and it's offered here! I truly hope they bring TR3 to iOS soon!!! I have purchased both titles and they work well, especially on my iPad 4. I truly hope to see the other classics offered to iOS devices!

Playing the game

Terrible Controls--Do not buy.

I'm sure this game would be tons of fun....if it actually worked. The control system on this game is inexcusably poor and is not worth your money.

Excellent!

Updated review (6/9/15): The game has been updated & improved since since my previous review, and I wanted to say thanks! The sound effects in the gold levels aren't buggy anymore, which is perfect. Some changes with the menus and things are much better, but strangely, I'm still trying to get used to it, lol! I guess I got used to the mysterious menus, not sure if you're tapping in the right place and such. Anyway, great improvements, keep up the great work. Changed rating from 4 to 5 stars as I said I would. :) Original review (5/16/15): I'm a huge fan of the Tomb Raider series, so the fact that TR 1 & 2 are available on iOS is amazing. I would've rated this (TR 2) 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the Gold levels are a bit buggy, sound-wise. Small problem, doesn't really affect gameplay other than perhaps being startled by the weird sounds repeating over and over, haha. Please fix. The really awesome thing though about this is that the Gold levels are included to begin with. Pretty cool. Will come back and change my rating to 5 stars if the bugs are fixed. Great work!

Good, but be informed

This is a fun game. However, the screen shots for this game are from the original Tomb Raider II. Tomb Raider II: the golden mask is different. In this game, there are 3 levels (all fairly long, but still a shorter game than the original), you don't go to the Great Wall of China, you don't pilot a boat (you can ride a snowmobile), and you don't fight a T-Rex. (Spoiler alert (kind of) you do fight a Bigfoot with gold armor as a final boss.)
