Edit for version 1.2.15: - GAME CRASHES DURING ARCADE NOW; happened multiple times when swiping while on a moving block. Never crashed in Arcade before the update. (edit: seems to have subsided for now) - The two new game mechanics are cool but the disappearing/reappearing blocks look way too similar to teleports; can get confusing so would recommend differentiating them more. Older review: Addictive. Retro done right. The only real issue, and others have noted this, is dodgy controls: swiping is sometimes unresponsive/incorrect. Not just occasionally, but enough that it happens at least several times within a 10-20 minute session. This results in deaths that could have been avoided had the controls worked properly. Using an iPhone 7. I, like others, have also inadvertently activated a shield by supposedly double-tapping, so I would advise adding an option to disable the double-tap feature. There are other issues too, like when you get killed by one of those enemies that follow you and you revive yourself, you may have no choice but to die again immediately because you revive exactly where you left off, where the follower enemy is, as they sometimes don't reset after you die. Fix the technical/etc issues and it's a 5.

Five stars baby. Don't be afraid to keep pumping out more levels. I keep the app downloaded just waiting for updates and more levels.....Quick idea: It'd be fun if you had, maybe five, super hard side levels just to keep people occupied. Maybe even a slots game (bigger payout but less chance of making money).......I finished 145. I need more
