Sync issues

I have gotten into multiple situations in which this app has gotten out of sync with the server and started piling up time tracking entries that don’t show up in my account. I’ve discovered that the only real solution is to completely uninstall the app and then reinstall it.

I can’t believe how user friendly and practical this tool is for time tracking. I wanted to start tracking my time, so I needed an EASY way. This program is for sure the solution and it’s free for everything i need personally. Definitely recommend.

This doesn’t always sync the time logged on the app. It syncs the time logged on the website, but the time recorded on the app never shows up, it just displays the circular arrow symbol that’s means those time entries need to be synced. Don’t bother with this, just log into the site on Safari. So much more reliable.

I am new to time-tracking, and Toggl has made it easy to get started. It has made me more mindful of my time and given me surprising insights into how long certain tasks take to complete. It also has made me aware of things, people, and tasks that take up *too much* of my time. I especially love how you can long press the new task button to start the timer or tap it to manually enter time that is already underway or completed already.

Toggl is great! I love tracking my time with the browser version. The app takes forever to sync, however. It seems to get worse the more I use the browser version instead. My app is currently saying I have been tracking a task for 336 hours, even though I turned off my last task in my browser last night. Closing the app and reopening doesn't help.

This has really helped me keep track easily of self billable hours at a new job. I work on the go and my time sheet is always with me. I can categorize different aspects and I find it very helpful. I figured out how to get total hours do certain time periods and find that invaluable! So like I said, so far, so good and I’m loving it!

I use it for freelance and my 9-5 uses it for all 6 employees. I could mention a few tweaks they could do, but the Toggl team constantly improves the site and app anyway.
