Lately, the app decides to not sync entries for periods of hours. It has come to the point that I have to manually enter the tracked times into the Toggl website. It just continues to say “Syncing...” but not sync. I’m using the latest version of the app, and the latest iOS.

Over the years I’ve tried many time tracking solutions but this is the easiest to use with powerful reporting. It just keeps getting better and better like a fine wine. I have my entire team at the office using it together with Asana for tracking projects. The integration with Asana has been wonderful as we can create and track our projects in Asana and where they automatically appear in Toggl for time tracking.

I use Toggl to organize how much time I spend on any task, whether I’m commuting, researching a new topic, or stopping for a snack. That may sound tideous, but I think the way Toggl organizes my schedule helps me realize how I use every minute of the day. That reassurance helps me realize there wasn’t a moment wasted and makes me proud of what I can get accomplished every day ?

My firm’s timekeeping software doesn’t allow me the flexibility to go mobile, start and stop timers on different devices, or keep entries without finalizing. Can’t tell you how many times I have lost days of billing because I closed my laptop before finalizing. This app has made a huge difference for me in capturing my time without having to recreate at the end of the month. You can also adjust the start/stop times for entries manually if you forget to start the timer right away, or accidentally left it running. Love it.

Syncing mostly doesn’t work; super slow UI responses on my iPhone X; tons of bugs; no reports for other team members, dashboard and other Desktop features which I use every day. Moreover the desktop site isn’t responsive and doesn’t horizontally scrollable, so no chance to see what your team is working on at the moment while on mobile. Can’t rely on the mobile app at all, unfortunately.

The app needs some work. I should be able to see my teams work from mobile if i have permission. Even on desktop, the graphs arent that great bc they dont color code the bar graphs, which seems like it should be a thing for sure. Would make it way easier to see what my team is spending time on at a glance. The process i have to go through go see my overall teams work on mobile right now is insane. Also, i should be able to see who is presently clocked in on my team, if i have permission.

This app is easy to use. It maximizes time and the billing reports are easy to generate, export and send out. Love it!

The mobile UX is hard to navigate, buttons are tinyyyy. But hey it’s free so no complaints?

Enjoy using this app, keeps time well, good reports. One thing, if using multiple devices, make sure your latest uses are synced before switching devices.
