This is exactly what I've been looking for for my 8-year-old twins. They haven't used it yet, but I'm impressed with what I have seen so far.

I always wanted to tell my parents stuff without running downstairs, finding them and just say a question a hundred times. When I got Tocomail I didn't have to do that anymore. ?
Can't add additional account

Nice app, but it won't let me add an additional child. I fill in all solicited info, but the data will not submit - no error message.

At one time I would have rated this app a five-star. But that was when it was free. Now, they are charging $3 a month for even the most basic features, like being able to approve or deny individual email for you kids. I'm really angry about that.
Great app but a little pricey

Really appreciate tocomail and the free service it came with, and fully understand the need for a paid version. But the jump in price is a little steep, especially when you have multiple kids. Other than that, really like the app and the ability for my kids to email family and friends. Less stars for expensive annual subscription, because the grey list feature is a must for us.

My 6 & 8 year old boys both love Tocomail. They email their grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles several times a week now and are always excited for their replies. I like that you can draw and send pictures as well as video clips so younger kids can use it. One of my favorite features is that I control the list of approved email addresses. If they get emails from an address not on the list it gets quarantined until I approve it. The same is true if they try to send to an unapproved address.

This app appeared to be the answer to a parent's/ grandparent's prayer; however a closer examination of the description reveals a nightmare. I think it totally disgusting that an app which supposedly is at its core designed to protect children from predators, charges parents/ grandparents fees for "premium" features; when in fact these features are the very thing needed to keep children safe in the first place! These so -called developers are really financial predators; they want to sell you a beautiful house then charge you extra for doors and windows! Shame on you!

I love this app. Both of my children (10 and 8 years old) are using this app to communicate with friends and relatives and I can make sure that they are safe and do not receive a lot of spam. It's easy to use and works great. We spend a lot of money on other safety devices: from toddler safety to bicycle helmets, I don't see why internet should be an exception, especially since kids nowadays spend a lot of time using it.
