I was charged unknowingly. I canceled the subscription but was happy that my daughter could use it for a year then I find out the sound doesn’t work at all on the app. I checked every setting and there’s no mute on iPad the sound either off or on period. Saw several other complaints about the sound so then I realized I wasn’t going crazy.

My 3.5 year old son didn’t like this at all. It’s just slides and poor quality audio uploaded by random people. I don’t understand how it’s regulated, which I don’t like or trust. We didn’t like the lessons and they didn’t hold his interest for more than 30 seconds. He is usually very interested in new apps but he actually asked me to delete this one. Don’t waste your time.

My daughter purchased the 1 year plan—so that’s pretty annoying because we don’t want this application. On top of that, however, I can’t even restore the purchase because the app locks up when tapping the restore button. So we’re basically out $60 that we didn’t want to spend to begin with. We’re going to contact the company to see if we can get a refund. Will update then. UPDATE: Based on the Customer Service response I’ll keep this at 1 star.

Because of the high review, I decided to give this a shot but I’m very unimpressed with it. Mostly, that it offers a “family subscription” but doesn’t allow for more than one profile. It lets you see what games they suggest based off your scores but don’t allow you to swap between children. That’s kind of huge for me, especially as a home schooling mother of multiple kids. It’s also frustrating that the profile is in my name now with no way to edit it.

Beyond excellent app AND customer service

This app is awesome. I love that I can engage children of all ages with fun, personalized games. My two year old loves it and so do the students I work with in K-5. The dashboard is easy to use and I love creating games that kids enjoy. Beyond the app, the excellent customer service from Ania, Gil, and the rest of the amazing TinyTap team has been WOW! I will not hesitate to recommend this app to fellow educators and friends with kids.
